I needed something to keep the air fresh in our windowless, exhaust fan-less laundry room where the cat litter box is. I am an OCD person who cannot stand any type of odor so having the cat litter box even though automatic still left a remant of odor when first used. I looked for fans and came to understand you need an air cleaner with charcoal filters to remove the odors and sprays just cover it up. So I saw this and decided based on reviews, price, size and description to try it out. We have had it several days. I opened the box, read the directions and put it together easily by myself. I have not yet learned the timer or sleep mode controls because I don’t need them but the turning on and off and fan speed control is simple and I use that.
The odor in the laundry room from the cat odor is gone completely and each time I smell anything from 3 rooms away I go in and turn this amazing machine on. It would fit on the floor nicely but in my case it sits conveniently on a wall shelf over the litter box where it fits easily and isn’t heavy. It’s an attractive little thing. The sound is minimal. I have been wanting an air purifier for next to my bed that can double as a sound machine and I think if I order another of these it will be perfect. The filter needs to changed out every 6 months or so and I will probably just buy some spares to keep in the utility room. This is a really good machine for the money. I haven’t had it long so I don’t know if will last but I hope so because I really depend on it to make the quality of life in the house fresh and clean the way I like it!

These have been great in our rooms. I love to leave it on high during the day and then sleep mode for night. You cannot hear it on sleep mode at all and the little light goes off which is nice.
I will say, I cannot figure out how to lock it from my child switching the modes despite following the instructions but that is not a huge deal.

It’s great! Perfect size, quiet & looks nice. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks, and checked the filter a couple days ago, it’s still fine. Hopefully it’s working the way its supposed too, it definitely does with smells. I just can’t tell if it’s taking dusts and particles out of the air because I feel like the filter would need changed by now.

Smoke drifts down from tenants upstairs through the vents though this is a nonsmoking building. So I needed something for my bedroom which gets the heaviest exposure. This air filter does seem to help. It runs perfectly silently and is a nice size. Filters should be replaced, depending on use,, every month to several months. I find it also helps with dust. My apartment is small with high ceilings. If you need something for large areas, you might choose to purchase one for each room. A good buy for the money in a clean, pleasant shape that fits on a bookcase or table. Keep out of children’s reach which is always the best safety advice for any electrical item.

Stopped working after a few months, update below. We live in an older house and it has always had a certain smell to it. On top of that we have two bigger dogs and a cat. So needless to say we have all kinds of smells going on. I use to walk in the house after work and get knocked over by the smells. I was so self conscious about having guests over. I shopped around for a while for an air purifier. I wasn’t prepared to spend a lot of money on one, although I knew I would probably have to get a good one. But then I found this one. Read all the reviews, price was fantastic and I was excited. Shipping was quick. I loved how easy it was to set up and it’s quite even on high. The timer is an added benefit. After a few days of having it running, the smells were gone!!! I come home from work and can’t smell the old house, or animals. I would highly recommend this. Also the filters are super easy to change and inexpensive. Great air purifier all around.
UPDATE!!! I have changed the filter many times, even before it was time. I didn’t know it would let you know when the filter was bad. Anyway after I changed the filter this time, the fan light will not stop blinking. Never even seen it blink before. The fan is not even as powerful as it use to be. I tried a different filter, i even put the old one back in and it still blinks. Not sure what to do. Going to look into sending it back. Its not purifying at all now and its on high. At this point its just wasting electricity.

For the price, size and extremely quiet operation I honestly wasn’t convinced this would even be work. Our basement had a strong wet, mildewy odor. I plugged this in, left for two days. When I came home the basement actually has this cool, crisp smell. Like the freshest air. 10/10 recommend.
