My Ducati thanks you!!!

I have a Focus ST, which happens to be a car that requires more frequent brake fluid changes than other cars. After much reading and research, I learned that changing the brake fluid was just as important as changing the brake pads, and that the braking performance of my ST could be negatively impacted by using an inferior brand. This, of course led to yet more research on which brand to go with, and I eventually decided on this Motul fluid, which I used a few months ago when it was time to change my brake fluid. So far, I’m very happy with it and plan to use it the next time I need to change the fluid. If you found this helpful, please consider clicking yes below.
I have noticed that several reviews I have written on items purchased through Amazon have had the “Verified Purchase” removed incorrectly and as a result are no longer visible, which is likely happening to other people as well. When you read reviews, be sure to sort by ‘All reviews’ since there is obviously a bug in the system and many helpful and detailed reviews are now hidden.

The Motul DOT-4 makes a difference in my braking and clutch operation, better performace than other brand that I have used in the past in my motorcycles, a bit expensive but worth every penny, quality has a value.

Dry boiling point is everything for a car that is driven hard, such as high performance track days. If the car is also a daily driver in a wet climate, you may need to flush and change Motul 600 more often than some other brake fluids, as all “normal” brake fluids are hydroscopic and absorb moisture from the air. On a car that sees the track often, you are probably changing it every year already, so no downside to Motul 600.

Only dislike is it’s very hygroscopic

Good quality brake fluid. If you are a squid and regularly run into the issue of having too much speed and not enough skill to negotiate a turn then this will help you stop on a dime.
Chris –
Excellent product, excellent seller. Speedy delivery got me back on track quickly, thanks!

I have a 2013 Corvette Grand Sport that I used this in. One full day at an HDPE event in NJ and I had no problems; no brake fade, no pulsing, no overheating and the brake fluid looked very clean and like new. For the price this would be probably the second best brake fluid available, the next step up and you are paying big bucks. For me and the occasional HPDE track day or days, this works perfect. One final thought on this brake fluid… yes this is expensive, alot more expensive than going to the local store and buying off the shelf. But!!! These are your brakes you are dealing with, and if the fluid fails and you have no more brakes… IMHO this is the one place to not be cheap or save a few dollars.

Haven’t used it yet so can’t comment on it’s quality yet.

I had to bleed the brakes in my Porsche to get the old stuff out and put this new stuff in. It works.
