Great for Photoshop, Lightroom, and photo editing in general. I am a high volume professional portrait photographer and getting Adobe programs to run efficiently is crucial to my workflow. The new, 2024, version of Photoshop and Lightroom would run poorly on my 8 year old graphics card with 4gb of ram. This card, with 12gb of ram, fixed all my problems and should work great for several years. I chose this model because my applications require more ram instead of more processing speed like in gaming, so the newer, more expensive models like the 4000 series, or the more expensive 3060ti with 8gb would not have lasted as long for me, would not have given me the benefits that this card offers, or would simply would not offer enough improvement to justify the price.
This card really falls in the sweet spot right now, April 2024, for performance for the money.
I can play pretty much every game on this card, but I use reduced graphics settings for games under 2 years old. I don’t care about super high frame rates and ultra high detail, so it is perfect for me.

I am a bit of a MS Flight Simulator nerd. I have always enjoyed the general aviation side of it. I have a 32 inch monitor that I was using but in order to get reasonably smooth frame rates I had to configure it at low res and set the graphics in the game at low levels. I upgraded to a 49″ monitor and the display graphics were virtually unusable. In order for it to work I had to use about half of the screen. I just installed the RTX 3060 and the improvement is night and day. It runs FS 2020 in full screen mode and with improved graphics levels.
When I am not playing, I use the computer for video editing, I am hoping that this will speed that process too. Even if it doesn’t the card make FS 2020 much more entertaining.

A entrega super veloz me surpreendeu, já o vendedor foi atencioso e respondeu minhas dúvidas com muita rapidez. A placa de vídeo chegou bem embalada e intacta, o ganho de desempenho nos jogos em comparação com a minha antiga placa de vídeo foi expressivamente alto. Eu recomendo o upgrade para quem quer ter mais desempenho nos jogos, e para aproveitar os recursos mais recentes como DLSS e Ray Tracing nos jogos.

Bought this to replace an overheating XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. I could rant all day about that card. But THIS! THIS excellent NVIDIA graphics card cost less, performs better, doesn’t overheat, and takes up less space in my computer case. Win, Win, Win, Win! I bought it so I could run Quadcopter and RC plane simulators. I had a bought an X-Box One X because the Radeon, but if I had just gotten this card, my PC could have been my gaming rig. If you can find this card, buy it before it’s gone.

Ho comprato questa scheda video per la mia prima Building, associata con un processore ryzen 5 5600G e 16GB di RAM DDR4 3600MHz. Devo dire che mi trovo benissimo, posso giocare a ciò che voglio con la massima qualità, al momento ho giocato a God of war, fortnite, The forest, Sons of the forest, Skyrim, Way of the Hunter e Minecraft con alcune shaders molto pesanti. La scheda video reagisce molto bene pur giocando alla massima qualità tuttavia in alcuni giochi come fortnite e alcune shaders molto pesanti di Minecraft giocando alla massima qualità mi lagga, controllando dal task manager però ho capito che non è la scheda video che non ce la fa ma bensì la RAM, tanto che sto provvedendo a comprare altri 16Gb. AVVISO che però per utilizzarla dovete avere almeno 600/550W di alimentazione infatti io ho dovuto cambiare il mio vecchio alimentatore da 500W a 600W perché non riusciva ad alimentare bene la scheda video.

For the price it can’t be beat. Sure there are better cards out there, but they required dipping into your kids college fund to afford. This is an easy purchase if you lay off the Starbucks for a month or two.

Recently, I gotten into sim racing and well, I needed more VRAM but also more performance. I figured why not refresh my pre-built PC and give it some more love!
At the time, I had a MSI GTX 1660 Super Gaming X, it was great at the time due to me playing low-end to mid-end range games, occasionally some high-end games time to time but with running Assetto Corsa with a few mods, the 6GB of VRAM on the graphics card was suffering quite a bit, leading to an unpleasant experience such as stutters for long periods of time, even lower my graphics wasn’t enough to keep up with what was going on in my game.
With the RTX though.. it’s been such a wonderful experience. Never had an RTX before, hell, not even a GTX before getting my PC. I always was a console player so having to make such a huge switch was definitely a good investment. With the 12GB of VRAM from the RTX, I have no issues playing Assetto Corsa anymore, no stuttering or anything like that! Temps wise, I am not too sure what it is as I mainly monitor my CPU temp but it has been quiet.
Although, the only mistake I’ve made was that I didn’t do enough research and ended up bottlenecking the RTX with my i5-10400F so I am not getting all the performance from the GPU. Still though, for what it is, I am happy with this graphics card. I am new to PCs and what not so upgrading my pre-built along the way I go will do just fine for me.

While I’m sure this card does really well at Gaming. I did get 60+ FPS with Hell Divers 2 with all options on at 1920×1080 resolution. I didn’t purchase this card for that. The main rules that come to working with AI are.
1) VRAM is Required
2) Cuda Cores Count is Required
3) RAM speed (GDRR*)
4) RAM size (GB*)
AI needs VRAM, no other way around it, and the more you have the more prompts, higher resolutions and async operations you can run. Image and video processing can dumped to the CPU, even LLMs running local GPT/Llama setups can be dumped to the CPU, but having a GPU is much more desired and needed when working with Images & Video.
Unless you are building out your own RTX 4090 array rig for AI processing, or Renting GPU space by the hour. This isn’t for you. But if you are wanting some hobby stuff at home playing around with ComfyUI, Automatic1111 or even Krita and just getting into the AI space, this card knocks it out of the park.
Remember kiddos, AMD/Intel just don’t cut it (yet), NVIDIA is a hard requirement.

We purchased a few of those for our lab to be used as GPGPU (mainly for deep learning). We installed them in out HP Z4 workstations and they all work as advertised. I am unable to assess how they perform for gaming or other graphical applications except to say that between computations they also drive our 2K monitors just fine.
Just the above makes us satisfied customers, but to our pleasant surprise the card also accommodates our unusual power supplies. About every PSU manufacturer and their mothers provide additional PCIe power using 8-pin connectors. HP workstations however are different, for their PSUs provide 150+W of power through a 6-pin PCIe connector (which is normally rated at only 75W). The mentioned pleasant surprise is that this GPU happily accepts our 6-pin connectors and still works at full power, as opposed to other GPUs we tried which refuse to power on without an adapter cable.
Overall these are great, inexpensive GPGPU devices which we can recommend.
