I tried out the Multifun Speed Skipping Rope, and it was just okay. It has a calorie counter, which seemed like a cool feature at first, but it wasn’t very accurate. The adjustable digital counting feature was alright, but I found it a bit finicky to set up initially.
The ball bearings did make the rope quite smooth to use, but the alarm reminder was more annoying than helpful. I also found that it tangled more often than I would have liked, which interrupted my workout flow.
Overall, it’s a decent jump rope for basic use, but I expected a bit more accuracy and convenience considering the advertised features.

Lightweight and durable. The instruction manual makes setting it up and getting started very easy. Once you have adjusted it to your desired length it only take a brief moment to get a handle of how the counter works. It also comes with a screw drive and a replacement battery which are quite handy to have.

These are great! They aren’t too heavy, which I found to be a problem with several rope handles. I wasn’t too concerned about the counting part of the system. I just wanted a rope that didn’t kill my hands and wrists, since I’m 56 years old. These are quite comfortable.

I love this jump rope. I’ve purchased 1 or 2 other brands on Amazon and it was so much work just to measure & cut the rope to preferred length, take the bearings off and get the new cut rope in and re-attach the bearings, and afteral that it wasn’t even that great; however, this jump rope is different and better for a few reasons.
1.) All I had to do is take a little plastic end cap off the end of the rope, run it thru 2 little holes on the handle and put the plastic cap back on and Boom..DONE! So easy!! I was impressed right away with that bc if I want to shorten or lengthen in the future, I know it’s going to be super easy and quick!
2.) Setting thr digital face was super easy also! It calculates burnt calories during each use so you must enter weight in order to do that. All you have to do is turn it on and hold the button down for a 3 seconds and then enter weight (in Kg only but I downloaded a converter app so I could always know what it days my weight is) then hit “set”, enter the amount of time you want to jump rope (this is not required so if you prefer not to just hit “set” again, then enter the amount of jumps you want to accomplish in your session (this is also not required so if you prefer not to enter just hit “set” one more time and you’re ready to jump! It auto-shuts off after 5min but when you turn back on your info is still there.
This jump rope is so simple yet so efficient, I love it!!!

I started doing crossfit and so wanted a skipping rope that would count my skips rather then me huffing and puffing and trying to remember them.
So, I began looking for a skipping rope that could do this. The first few I came across were very expensive. And then I started to come across China made ones. And a lot of them seem to come unattached to the handle. However, I needed one that I could get out the box and use with no fuss. So I chose this one even though it is significantly more expensive.
So the rope arrived. And to my dissapointment the rope was attached to the handles. And so given the tools and instructions included with the rope. I spent 5 minutes putting them on. It wasn’t so bad. But I don’t have that time in my day to give to these little things. And I wasn’t hoping to do it.
The next issue is this took a while to deliver. I think it came from China and so it took longer then other ropes even though it was priced higher.
Moving to the actual product. It comes with a spare battery and a pouch to store the rope in(the pouch isn’t great quality, it’s very stiff). It also comes with instructions/manual for setting up the rope and how to use the electronic tracker.
It does feel sturdy, however I’m not sure of how long it will last. Would I buy it again? Probably not.
The skipping is fairly accurate. The controls are easy to use and the rope is comfortable.
Tldr: I paid over the odds for this compared to others because I didn’t want the hassle of assembling this. Unfortunately you have to assemble unlike what the picture shows.

Upon opening it is not assembles but very easy to put together. I love how you can make the rope to your length. No more having to wrap it around your hands like you did when younger. The digital screen is very easy to use. Weight is used in kg on the screen. Back light helps you see what you are looking at.
I love how you can set a timer or how many jumps or just start using it. I would recommend this for someone. Especially when you using jumping rope as cardio.

My son recently turned 13, he is a big time online gamer. I can only control how much he’s gaming and sitting in his chair only so much, due to me only getting him on the weekends. He recently spoke with me about how unhappy he has become with his body. I know I couldn’t get him on a highly disciplined workout regime like I do for training in MMA and Boxing. So I immediately thought about jump rope, if he could get it down, he could easily knock out a good cardio work out in 10 min. I remember an old Boxing coach told me that if I can speed rope for a good 10 min. a day, that it was the equivalent to jogging 3 miles a day. So I purchased 2 of these. One for me, and one for him to take home. I really like how simple it is to adjust between heights of the jumper. The ball bearings in the handles are very smooth and can easily learn as a beginner to speed roping in no time! By the second day and after getting my son’s jump rope just to the length he liked, he really took off! He was doing a medium paced, consistent jump by the second day. It took a little practice for him at first but after he figured it out, he really liked it. Now back at his mom’s home, he takes at least a 5 minute break for every 55 minutes he’s on the gaming computer to see how many jumps he can knock out. With the display, it’s easy for him to record his daily amount of time and how many jumps and calories he lost for that day. It’s awesome for my son, because he is able to push himself harder and beat his previous daily goal. He’ll be back in shape in no time! And as for me, I really like mine too, easy to track amount of time on it and make sure I hit my daily goal of jumps. It’s A LOT easier on the feet and knees than running 3 miles a day!!! Oh and I just purchased a third one for my son’s mother because she really liked it too!
