Munchkin Lulla-Vibe™ Vibrating Mattress Pad Soother

Product works great overall ! I use it in the bassinet to vibrate and it helps her sleep good. You can also transfer it to car seat or pack and play to, it is bulky and a little thick but works great.

The only complaint I have is how many batteries it goes through. It takes 4 AA batteries at a time, however if you use the lulla vibe daily or often you have to replace them weekly to every week and a half. Which can start to add up.

We ended up buying recharging batteries but noticed they aren’t as strong after the first time you charge them and they die faster that a week in the lulla vibe. So we went back to buying regular batteries.

This worked for about a week and then would turn off after about 5 mins which would then wake up a baby that’s drifting to sleep! When it did work it was good however a 60 min timer would be much more effective as 30 mins can still potentially wake bub up. I reached out to customer service and they wanted all this info so I sent it and then they asked for a video of it working & turning off including showing them on the videos the batteries in it?! Are you serious could they not just take my word for it as I was just after a replacement anyway. I took the video although it was quite a lot of effort to actually show it vibrating and then I had to download software to make the file small enough to send all while juggling a newborn. Really hoping they don’t ask for even more “proof” …
Update: they confirmed the product was faulty and offered a replacement but can’t ship the replacement to my country so I asked for a refund instead and then they said they can’t refund without me sending the item back (and paying about $50 postage) yet they could send a replacement without needing the faulty item back. None of this makes any sense and the customer service is shocking, they constantly contradict themselves. Do not buy.

Despite all the reviews I read that this product only lasts about 2 weeks, I decided to pull the trigger and order it. I found my baby is soothed with vibration and needed something for his bassinet or to take on car rides in his car seat what transferring in and out of car. This little plush paddle is magic! It worked so well the first 3 weeks, helped with getting my baby to sleep at night and also after waking up to feed. Batteries died about the 3 week mark, changed them, worked like a charm for about a day, then the vibration started to get weaker and weaker. Then would stop working after a few minutes of being on. (Usually the auto shut off timer is 30minutes) Sometimes wouldn’t turn on at all then randomly turn on when I would try just for the hell of it. If this product could fix the issue of the mechanism stopping, I would give this 5 stars easily! But because it only last about a month, which is 2 weeks longer than most, and worked wonders, but it’s a shame that I now need to but a new one or just say it was good while it lasted, 3 stars.

Also wanted to add, I know some people say its very noisy, I found for where I was using it that noise of vibration was not an issue or bothersome for me.

This is the most functional item on the market that vibrates for longer than a few minutes. 30 minutes most of the time is long enough to allow our baby to fall into a deep enough sleep where we don’t have to get up a million times to restart. Obviously when you think about a product that vibrates consistently for 30 minutes at a time on 4 AA batteries, it of course will need battery replacement often. We are currently changing batteries about every 2 days but frankly for peace of mind and less wake up’s it’s totally worth picking up a giant pack of AA batteries. It is a bit loud but that doesn’t bother anyone in our house, babies sleep with white noise and whatnot anyways so in retrospect what’s the difference!? Very happy with this purchase.
