I love this rack. Very easy to assemble and is perfectly stable when assembled. It’s great for storage and nice that you can adjust shelves as and how you need them, so you can use it for different things over time. Would definitely re-buy it.

Far more simple to build than I was expecting. Rivets that slide into a slot, that’s it. No hold downs, shelf securing screws, nothing. Pound it together with a rubber mallet.
Problem is, the metal pieces are not manufactured matched, so they wont fit true/square. So you end up hammering the hell out of them to seat into the slots. But one good twist of a leg or cross brace and they’ll start popping out all over. I’ll probably secure the shelves with steel cable or maybe some rivnuts.
It is very thin feeling metal, but I’ll admit they’re pretty strong once all assembled. However, I would not put 4,000lbs on these shelves like they claim to hold. That’s a recipe for disaster. The wooden shelves themselves were a good quality though, I was surprised.
The color and texture of the metal pieces look very good to me. It’s tasteful and actually makes these shelves appear more professional once they’re all set up.
At the end of the day, the price to performance pays off for me. I think I paid 40-something dollars shipped, which is very good for a rack this size.
I’ll probably buy 1 or 2 more of these for that reason!

Not sure what all the raving reviews are all about. Easy to assemble. Shelves are chip board and 2 had a slight warp. Found that one shelf kept popping out of the slots. Will suit my needs but nothing special.

They look great and store anything from wiper fluid, car seats, air compressors to plant pots and car detailing items. Great value for your money.

This thing was a POS. It’s not stable not to mention how difficult it was to put together. The concept itself is not hard but getting pieces to stay, next to impossible. It’s difficult to get pieces into place, I had to use an actual hammer, and then you get it in and it still doesn’t stay! I would have returned if It wouldn’t have been so difficult to due to its size

I love this shelf.
Cons: This thing was a PAIN to put together. I had no one to help me, and the instructions made it sound so simple. Light taps, easy positioning, and rivets, what could go wrong? No. NO. This thing was a MONSTER. I think I made up new swear words in my rabid screaming. Once I got everything in, there’s no way whatsoever that the shelves can be repositioned. I had to use a lot of force on each side to get them in place for the first time; there’s no way in this lifetime that I’m undoing them. It was so bad that if I ever move, Those shelves are staying here because I assembled them for a cleaning closet and I can’t get them out again without disassembling.
Pros: Each shelf, although made of particle board, is braced on all four sides, giving them a lot of stability. I put so much stuff on these shelves and they hold up like a champ. The metal is sturdy. They even LOOK really great. Now that they’re one solid piece, I’m absolutely loving them, and I feel really good every time I see them. Definitely worth the trouble to see a well-organized cleaning closet every weekend. 🙂
Final Result: Buy this one, but make sure you have help to put it together. And IGNORE ALL INSTRUCTIONS TO GENTLY TAP IT. Just beat the living tar out of it. The metal can take it. Trust me, I know what I’m talking about.

I bought this to use in my storage shed. It is very good quality. You need to use a rubber mallet to attach the steel pieces together. I found it helpful to place a folded rag or towel over the piece I was pounding on. The metal pieces tend to dent the mallet and the towel protects the mallet. It also allows you to pound a little harder. Tip: The instructions say to install the shelves as you complete each section. I did that but found it was too heavy to move after it was completed. They were easily removed so I could move the frame. If you need to move the frame, double check the connections before you put the shelves back. They can loosen slightly in transit and need a bit of pounding.
