The item I received had been partially assembled by a previous purchaser but sold to me as new. None of the fasteners were packaged together in a secure bag, but by carefully going through the packaging material I was able to locate the necessary screws; however, 3 of the 4 rubber shock absorbers see photo were missing and no locktight was supplied for the 9 machine screws. Once assembled the item fit my R1200GS Adventure quite well. A price adjustment would be in order given the product was previously opened and partially assembled
