I am giving this 3 stars because I am riddle with whiteheads. But it’s my fault because I forgot why I stopped using this product. My skin looked good for the first two weeks until my hair started to grow back. I don’t think this is black girl friendly because Ofcourse our hair coils. Because of my hairs getting trapped under the skin I have little white heads all over. It happens everytime I use this product so I stop using it but I forgot and bought it again. The pimples reminded me why I don’t. It’s not the complete fault of the product but I don’t think it’s black skin friendly.
Update: my poor skin I had to def reduce the rating because I feel like it should be a warning that this doesn’t work for all skin tones. My skin was silky smooth until my facial hair started growing back which took a couple of week. This product ruined my skin last pic is how my skin was before this product no filter

I’m not sure what type of hair this is being used on but if you have coarse facial hair related to pcos etc then it does absolutely nothing. I even left it on for the 10 minutes max. It was just the same as before. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

I used Nair decades ago, and this new formula is a great improvement. I’m mid-70’s and have always had very fair, sensitive skin. With liquid make-up I wear the lightest or second lightest color.
I used this “new Nair” this morning on a small patch on my face, but it was obvious I need to leave it on for the full 10 minutes. So, I put thick vaseline on my lips to protect them, and put a layer of Nair on my cheeks, chin, and mustache areas for the full 10 minutes.
Once done, I would say 95% of the hair was gone, but what I had to pluck was easy to pull out, so even those stubborn ones were softened up.
Yes, there was some redness, which I expected. I wiped and rinsed according to instructions, then rinsed some more. Firm pat-and-dry with a clean towel.
Then, I put a layer of Vitamin E cream over the area, and it started calming down immediately. 30 minutes later I put a little more over areas that were still a little red. I use Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E cream daily, and highly recommend it. All the “E” benefits, and VERY affordable here on Amazon.
The only reason there’s not 5-stars in my rating is the Nair smell is still the same, and I can still smell it on my skin with my sensitive nose. I suggest using it just before a shower so all the Nair gets rinsed off, but a warm, not hot, shower.

For years I’ve had trouble with my skin – vitiligo, acne, dryness etc. So, when I read some of the reviews on this I was pretty nervous. Trust me. Anything can set my skin off BUT I really couldn’t find anything else that didn’t have similar reviews. I decided, why not just give it a try? If it doesn’t work, my sister’s will use it. It came packaged well, the smell is fine and not over the top (to me)… I left it on for 5 minutes took it off (I was pretty nervous) and bam, hair gone. I rinsed for a bit and then put on face lotion. It’s now been a day and my upper lip is smooth and naked. Just the way I like it 😛 No chemical burns or redness.

The product is great for removing facial hair. The smell isn’t so great. Kind of like a chemical odor. My skin is very sensitive and this product does cause redness for several hours after using. I’ve tried facial moisturizer after removing the Nair and it burned and was pretty painful. Now I wait a few hours and it seems to be much better.
I thought I was receiving the item of the picture shown on Amazon. When the 2 pack arrived it was a totally different look (pink & white). I’m not sure if it’s just different packaging or if it’s the wrong item. I was hoping the extra moisturizing would control the redness and burning.
