I have found myself using this a lot already. To test it I made sweet potatoes. They got very brown and were great tasting and done all the way through. I heated up leftovers with the “ReCrisp” setting and they were great! It is nice to have things a bit crispy instead of soggy when they are microwaved. I made cauliflower as well and it was great, just added a bit of olive oil.
It is easy to allow it to cook for a while, then grab the top and pull it off. The legs allow you to set it on the counter. Then stir the food and replace the top. You have to hit Start again to get it going. Time is easy to adjust with a + and – sign. On the higher cook settings you need to make sure you don’t burn your food. With a little practice you will get the hang of it.
All that, and it stacks all together to take up less space in your kitchen. I love this cooker a lot more than I thought I would.

Does not take up a lot of kitchen counter space. Perfect for a family of 3 for meal preparation. Space saver! 4 basic settings; air fry, bake, recrisp and Mac crisp.When not in use, you can repurpose the containers for storage.

This little kitchen tool is so clever. It’s basically like a little convection oven hat – you set it on top of a bowl filled with whatever you want to cook and just push a button. There’s 4 heat settings depending on what you want to make, or reheat, and the controls are extremely simple and intuitive – set the temp, set the time, push go, done.
There’s two different size bowls included – one is a nice small dish that’s ideal for a single meal, appetizers or snacks and the other is larger and suited to multiple servings. If there are leftovers, there are lids for both bowls so you can just take the cooking hat off, put a lid on and stick it in the fridge. Then back under the cooking hat when you want to reheat.
There are so many things about this that have been well thought out – from the very small amount of space it takes up to the easy clean up (it even has the magic words – “Dishwasher Safe” for everything but the cooking hat itself). I am definitely going to be adding a couple of additional bowls for mine – it makes for such a nice plug and play meal prep.
I can think of a million uses for this little tool but I do see it being especially ideal for single people who don’t love to cook (you know who you are) and have limited kitchen space. It’s just so ideal for single serving meals, leftovers that are actually crispy and evenly heated through again, french fries and other frozen fried goodies straight out of the freezer that actually come out crisp and don’t require firing up an entire oven. It takes little to no know-how to use and very minimal space to store (less really than even a toaster over).
I was prepared for this to be a one-hit wonder kind of kitchen gadget and honestly if all it did was make legitimately crispy fries at home I would have been fine with that but it’s just so useful day to day for me – it has completely changed my experience with leftovers and I love being able to just crisp up any veggie I like with virtually no prep. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for something that fits into the “air fryer” category.

We have a combination toaster oven/air fryer that gets a lot of use. The only issue is when you try to make something “drippy” it makes a big mess that’s a pain to clean out. French fries and chicken nuggets are great, chicken wings are a no go. We saw this air fryer with a dishwasher safe bowl/basket and decided to give it a try. My first dish was sesame chicken; I air fried the chicken coated in cornstarch and soy sauce. I tried it before in the old air fryer and the chicken just stuck to the wire basket and made a mess. The Crispi was a lot easier to use; the little plate on the bottom is non-stick and was easier to move the chicken around on. When I was done, I just threw it in the dishwasher. Much easier to deal with, and it worked great.
It came with a recipe for grilled cheese; put some mayonnaise instead of butter on the bread and let it go for about 8 minutes (with one flip). It came out perfectly, and the bread was very crispy with a nice soft middle. One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve had.
It’s simple to use, and best of all easy to clean. It’s also pretty easy to stack everything and store it away when you don’t need it. We use the old air fryer for everyday “reheating and warming” and the Crispi for “meal prep”. And, in a pinch, we can pull it out if we need a lot of fries at once.
This fryer works great and is very convenient to store when you don’t need it. Highly recommended.
