The kettle looks good and the reviews I read are great. However I bought this for my parents for Christmas, didn’t think of checking in the box…. Sadly it came with a US plug not UK. Technically this is not a proper review as it’s not able to be used! Rather disappointed, will be returning, but unable to replace this as currently unavailable. So for the plug issue I am giving only 2 stars!

I use this every day to boil water for my instant coffee. It has settings for different water temperatures and I absolutely love it. I do use purified water so that our hard city water doesn’t leave deposits in it.

Estéticamente me encantó. Discreta y sofisticada. Pero lo mejor es el control de temperatura y su rapidez. Necesitaba el control de temperaturas para el mate o café y es fabulosa. Se puede cambiar a Celsius apretando dos botones en simultáneo y además mantiene el la temperatura por 30 minutos (seleccionando este programa)

The Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle is great! Heats up fast and gets me to my pour-over coffee or cup of tea quickly and with temperature precision. Here’s the pros and cons for me:
Pros:
– Heats up fast and boils water quickly!
– The controls on the base unit are simple and easy to use.
– Easy temperature settings for different types of tea or coffee
– The lid opens wide for easy cleaning when needed
– With daily use (over 6 months) NO rust spots
– Stylish and looks good in any kitchen
– Fill gauge is easy to read for the amount of water you want to heat up.
– Handle stays cool to touch after heating up water.
– Temperature hold feature works great, so I don’t have to run for the kettle immediately.
Cons:
– Kettle body get quite hot after boiling water, but again, handle does stay cool.
Having tried other brands of kettles that didn’t last or left me underwhelmed this has been the Ninja kettle has been the one that checks all the boxes and has been a great addition to our kitchen.

I drink tea everyday (and coffee for my husband) so an electric kettle is a staple in our home. Our previous dial temperature controlled kettle we’ve had for over 10 years finally started leaking it was time for a new one. After a lot of research I went with this kettle because it seemed similar to the ultra high end Breville one in terms of features, but for a fraction of the cost.
So far so good, we’ve had it for 2 weeks. Here are our likes and dislikes…
What we like:
-Temperature is accurate (we tested with our digital thermometer)
-I love the instant read temp (as soon as you set it onto the base it says the temp!)
-I love all the different settings and that they are actual buttons (although it’s flat, you can feel a little click when you depress them).
-My husband needs 180 for his coffee and I need various temps for black or green tea so he was always sticking a thermometer in our old kettle. I love this because I can know what the temp is immediately.
-I love that you can see how much water is in it!
-It pours very well!
-Handle and lid are cool to the touch.
-I like the the way it looks, the blue color is nice, and the base isn’t crazy huge.
Dislikes:
-I think it feels really heavy when it’s full. I would not recommend this for someone who is elderly as it requires a little wrist strength to pour when full.
-We don’t like the beep it makes (it’s not loud, just a weird series of tones) when it’s reached the desired temp

I just noticed the reviews mentioning the sticky lid too late. I like this kettle very much, as an improvement over my old stainless steel kettle that stained easily. This kettle is sleek and shiny and handles watermarks well. It also has great variable temperature settings that take the guesswork out of making different types of tea (I like green and black). I don’t care for the beeps (too curt and unfriendly, like Skynet – my rice cooker plays a calming melody) but that is a minor quibble. What is the dealbreaker for me, and is causing me to return this kettle after two weeks of use, is the lid. It opens (or is supposed to open) when a button is pressed on the handle. But the mechanism is weak, and the lid sticks 9 out of 10 times. This means I have to pry it open with a knife or spoon. When I want my tea, I just want to fill the kettle, switch it on, and be done with it, not engage in tool use. I’d expect better design and engineering on a $99 kettle.

I had an adjustable temp OXO glass kettle for over two years. The top handle started to break (but still usuable) so I bought a new one. I decided on this because although the OXO had adjustable temps, we rarely used it. We would just turn it on, which automatically sets it to previous temp, and we ended up doing 212 degrees for everything. This user interface is much more intuitive and I fell like we will be using the various temps since they are all one touch presets. The entire product feels like a quality product, and looking forward for the years to come with it.

After buying and then replacing several electric kettles over the years and having a great experience with Ninja products I decided to step up to a better brand this time. So far Ninja has not disappointed. It heats up water about as quick as others, I have not messed with some of the presets, however the hold temp function is awesome, no need to time the process or start to lose some temp as soon as it’s done. Set the temp, it reaches it and keeps it right where you want, when you need it.

We had a Frigidaire electric that we loved kettle for years, but of course they no longer make kettles. So we bought the Cuisinart, which has rave reviews from everyone. Didn’t like it because it doesn’t tell you the current water temperature, and it either comes out in a trickle or a gush. Back it went. There are very few kettles that will tell you the current water temperature, and of those, fewer still that show you the water level so you know when you need to add more. The Ninja was one of two, I believe. I was skeptical, but this kettle is fantastic! It heats water at lightning speed, the pour is exactly right, it has several pre-set settings for different teas, but you can also adjust the temperature yourself! (That is also a rare feature.) The capacity is less than the Cuisinart, but it more than makes up for it in features. I absolutely love this kettle!
