I love this game. I played the 1st one years ago so when I finally got a switch and found out that a sequel was out, I took the plunge. This game is great, one of my favorite rpgs for sure. The shipping was fast and there was no damage at all to the package. Just a great game with 0 issues during the delivery.

If you’re looking for an exciting and engaging role-playing game on the Nintendo Switch, look no further than Bravely Default II. This game is the perfect blend of classic RPG gameplay and modern features, making it a must-have for fans of the genre.
The game follows the story of four heroes as they set out on a quest to restore the four elemental crystals to their former glory. Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of enemies and obstacles, all while upgrading your party’s abilities and weapons.
One of the standout features of Bravely Default II is the innovative Brave and Default system. This system allows you to choose between attacking immediately or saving your turn for later, allowing for more strategic battles. Additionally, the game’s job system allows you to mix and match abilities from various classes, creating a party that is tailored to your playstyle.
The graphics and soundtrack of Bravely Default II are both top-notch, immersing you in the game’s world and providing a memorable experience. And with multiple difficulty levels and a New Game+ mode, there’s plenty of replay value to be had.
Overall, Bravely Default II is a fantastic addition to any Nintendo Switch library. Its engaging gameplay, innovative features, and high-quality presentation make it a must-play for fans of the genre. So why wait? Start your brave new adventure today!

First off, this is an amazing game. Great characters, great story, great fighting system. I also didn’t need to grind levels even once to advance, which is a big plus! The job system is great and well balanced. It doesn’t take forever to level up a job, which is a big step up from the previous games in this series.
Its only a few little things that stop this from being five stars. First, no maps in the dungeons. This doesn’t seem like a big deal, but I lost count of the times I got turned around and ended up in the wrong place. If you have a map in the overworld, why not the dungeons?!
Second, some of the side quests are horrible. Having to run back and forth between NPC’S delivering messages just ground everything to a hault. Your grandfather is 10 steps away, go tell him yourself! It would be different if the rewards were better, but most of the time it isn’t worth it.
Finally, as great as the job system is, some of the jobs are borderline worthless. There is just no point to them at all.
Overall a fantastic game. I haven’t had this much fun with an RPG since Octopath Traveler. But just a few little fixes are needed to make this a five star game.

This game is great, and a must have for any fan of traditional turn based RPGs like final fantasy, Chrono trigger or legend of heroes. one of the best parts about it, is the attack gamble system, where you can take up to 4 of your turns at once, to try and finish a fight, but be careful, if you fail to fell your enemies they get 4 attacks on you before you can recover.
the game is a huge improvement over the original two (Bravely Default, and Bravely Second), and has new music, characters, classes to master, and other stuff. all in all, a 4.8 out of 5. would highly recommend.

This game definitely has elements of “old-school” JRPG difficulty, but it has a very interesting class system that makes grinding highly rewarding. The story isn’t exceptional, but the characters are likeable enough and the gameplay makes up for any shortcomings otherwise.
I had heard of, but never played, Bravely Default and Bravely Second (the direct sequel to the original) on 3DS, and while I wasn’t against it, it didn’t really catch my eye all that much, either. When I first saw Bravely Default 2 in the Nintendo Direct, however, and heard someone say you could get into it without playing the original, I was pretty eager to try it out. I instead wound up getting it as a Christmas gift for someone else, but was able to try it for myself and wound up playing it more than they did (the difficulty was a bit much for them, but I went through the effort of 100%-ing the whole thing because I loved it so much).
Now if I could just get *them* to actually finish it.

This game is a lot of fun. Fair warning: it is a JRPG so there is grinding if you want to defeat boss fights with ease. That being said, I haven’t minded that since the selling point of this franchise, the tons of classes to play, are fun to level.
There are over 15 different jobs to play, each with their own unique skills and abilities you can equip to come up with some crazy combinations of power. Many of them are relevant to the story, and a few are from side quests or hidden. There is also the “default” and “brave” command options (hence the game’s name) in which you can store up turns or use multiple turns at once to attack
The story itself is similar to the first installment: you’re a hero who gets swept up in the effort to save the world by collecting (rather than restoring) crystals which have been stolen and used to fuel people’s selfish (albeit sometimes starting with good intentions) wishes. Thus far, I am at the end of chapter three and will say each chapter’s story gets progressively better in my experience.
All in all: if you like classic final fantasy styled approaches to both combat as well as job roles, you will enjoy this game. The art style is cute, the world is vast, and the battles can be tricky if you don’t plan ahead.
