Nuwave Brio 15.5Qt Air Fryer Oven Kit

This air fryer fits my counter perfectly. I like that there is more than one rack and that there is also a grill rack as well. There are many presets (100) and a cookbook with 50 or more recipes is included in the package. Although this air fryer is smaller and has 3 fewer racks than my previous fryer, it still does any job I want it to do. We are a family of three and don’t need a huge air fryer with more racks. All in all a good air fryer at a fair price.

Not an 8 blade fan like advertised, only 6 blade like older model!!! I went with the newer more expensive model because it was advertised to be better. Will reach out to manufacturer and see what they say.

This is the fourth air fryer I’ve owned and this one is quite the beast! It does things the only three couldn’t even conceive of, much less accomplish. I’ve yet to try roasting a chicken yet (how does one even do that? I’m going to have to look it up!) but I’m confident it’s going to handle the job well. Everything I’ve prepared in this has been cooked perfectly and it’s much easier to use than the others I’ve owned. Having said that, read the instructions and read them well! It’s only easy to use if you know what you’re doing, so take a few minutes and educate yourself before you start trying to cook in this thing. You’ll thank me, I swear!

The air fryer is also very easy to clean. Is it large? Yes, but that’s a plus because you can cook a lot of food in it at once. A LOT. Will it fit underneath your cabinets? Well, you’ll just have to measure and see. It fits under mine fine, but everyone’s cabinets are hung at different heights.

Food prepared in an air fryer is much healthier than fried food. Everyone knows this by now. But it’s also tastier and it’s so much easier than using the oven. The problem with most air fryers vs. using a traditional oven is just that they’re not large enough to accommodate enough food to feed an entire family. Not this one! It’ll definitely get the job done for you. It’s also really handy to have one when you’re hosting a party or a holiday event because it’s like having a second oven at your disposal to prepare two things at once.

This is an air fryer on steroids. The fact that one appliance can bake, grill, toast, rotisserie, dehydrate, and air fry is amazing! On top of that, it sits compact yet has a 15.5Qt capacity and is an elegant black with touch menu to boot. Have not fully tested all the features, but it toasts and bakes well. There is a bit of a learning curve with all the presets, but once you get the hang of it, we were able to enjoy what this Nuwave Bio has to offer.

Our experience has been mostly pleasant, but starting off took some research. The documentation it comes with is a bit overwhelming, so I suggest grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting down for 10 minutes reading the materials. Trust me, it is worth it. Instead of doing this right before you are to use it, you will be much more prepared.

Tri-tip cooking experience: The benefit of presets are less hands-on and constant checking of the temperature. My best use example, was we chose the prime rib preset from the provided cookbook as it most closely resembled the pre marinated tri-tip we bought from Costco. We mounted the 3.5lb meat on the included rotisserie stake and poked it with the temperature probe, and selected the preset number indicated. It went through stage 1 searing at 425F until internal temperature hits 80F. It then moves on to stage 2 – finishing at 325F until cooking to the selected temperature. We selected medium-rare, which stopped – internal temperature of 120F and instructed us to remove from the oven and with the probe still tethered to the oven, sat until 130F for the medium-rare.

Many complain that this appliance does not the standard counter underneath the cabinets, but that is the tradeoff for having a high capacity appliance as it needs to be higher for the smaller footprint. So I suggest doing your measurements before considering the Nuwave Brio. There are so many more recipes to test, and we’re up for the challenge. Next up ahead, dehydrating fruits and baking a pie.
