Nuwave Healthy Duralon Blue Ceramic Cookware Set

I like this company, I’ve ordered other pans from them but these pans are pretty great. The is NOT a deep or royal blue like in the picture but I can live with it. It’s more like a dark teal/blue(?).

The handles do get hot so be careful but the pans are non stick as it says. They’re not heavy but sturdy pots.

– Value for money: Absolutely! Especially if you’re upgrading like us from the grey and copper nonstick’s from Walmart, you will like these.
– Handle: They are metal they’ll get so warm like any other metal pan handle if you’ve left it on the stove for a really long time or put it in the oven. Just be mindful. I wouldn’t say it’s a con to the product as it’s very common.
– Scratch resistance: Don’t use metal utensils for nonstick pans as a whole, not just for this set.
– Washing: Dishwasher & hand washing work, we’re choosing to do hand wash for longevity.
– Induction cooking/glass top stove: If you’re used to thicker nonstick pans than these will perform as you expect. They’re not going to heat up as fast as a cheap thin teflon pan for sure BUT it will also last you longer and not poison you 🙂
– Pros: You can tell this is a quality set just by looking at it in person before even holding it. They have a nice weight to them. My husband is impressed by the depth of the pans. You can also swap out the lids between the pots and the pans. The color is very nice!
– Cons: The ONLY reason this I would give this 4 stars is because the picture does not match what you actually get. I purchased and received the Clay color set and you would think it was the Cool Grey. They also look painted and not like brushed metal. I knew all of this by looking at the reviews before purchasing so I’m not disappointed. But the point still stands.

Let me just start this review by saying I had extremely low expectations about this cookware set. In fact, I really only bought it for the “Deep Blue” color. My intention was to buy a better, more expensive set next year and this was just a placeholder until that time. I was already disappointed when I opened the box and pulled out the first pan, the “Deep Blue” does not match pics. At least not to my eyes. I contemplated not even using them and just sending them back. Then I came to my senses and decided to give them a try, because the color alone is not going to make meals any better. And I’m glad I did.

The standard test for all nonstick pans is eggs. I pre-heated the pan with medium heat on my glass top stove, threw a pat of butter in, and cracked the egg. Let me tell you…this pan is SLIPPERY. I definitely used too much butter, but only because that’s what I was used too with other pans. This pan needs less. I didn’t have to add any butter for the second egg, there was still too much. Both eggs just slipped around the pan like you see on commercials for every nonstick pan, no resistance whatsoever. These were some of the best looking eggs I’ve ever cooked. And after I was done, I let the pan cool on the stove top before washing it with some Dawn soap and a sponge. It cleaned right up and didn’t even look like I had used it.

So far, I’ve made a few more over easy/medium eggs, scrambled eggs (which do get stuck to the metal tabs, but I’m not going to knock points for that, those aren’t nonstick), shrimp, and quesadillas. Cheeses don’t even stick, they just slide right off. And cleaning is a breeze. Even though they are labeled as dishwasher safe, the instructions do say it could lessen the life of the surface material, so I just follow the directions and handwash them with a mild soap and a soft sponge. They clean up so dang easy that it only take a minute. There is no scrubbing. I even got the pot and pan protectors so I could stack them all properly without scratching the surfaces.

This is without a doubt the best cookware set I’ve ever owned. 5 stars all day.

Seriously I can’t say enough. These are beautiful and much higher quality than I expected.
Prime day I liked at a few things I was putting off buying. These I felt were a great deal so I went for it. Wow I am so happy I did. These are solid, heavy and very well made. I am impressed with myself for finding them! Hahaha

They are absolutely nonstick for the most part I just wipe them out with a paper towel after they cool off. Even the lids seem to just wipe clean. Cooks even and the sizes are perfect. I line the high sides. Deeper for less spill and fat more attractive 😜 I have a pot rack and they look fantastic there. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I had a Paris Hilton set of pots and pans hanging on my pot rack for decorative purposes but these are far more attractive and the quality you want to cook with so I can replace them with actual functioning pots and pans.

After 3 months they are still beautiful and I’m still just as pleased! Don’t hesitate with this one.

I did love this set and the quality is excellent, except for the outside finishing.
We took good care of the set and even changed the dishwasher detergent to a natural, chemical-free, biodegradable and non-abrasive product.
However, around 2 weeks after receiving them, they started to show chips that I don’t even know where they came from, as we have been taking care of them with all the special treatment that I never did with any other pan in our lives.
I thought about asking for a replacement, but this wouldn’t resolve my problem as the scratches would appear again due to the poor finishing quality, so I unfortunately had to return it.
