After researching videos and online reviews I chose the ohO camara glasses to use while on my next motorcycle trip. The first pair I ordered had a loose connector and did not work out of the box, so I requested a replacement pair from Amazon. The new glasses came a few days later and I was more than happy with the quality of the glasses and with the quality of the video and pictures. No thrills, just one button on and off and quick videos and pictures. My planned trip is a few weeks away, so I keep the glasses charged and bring them out every couple of days to do my evening walk and practice taking videos. Yesterday after owning them a little over 6 weeks, they will not turn on. I connected the charging cable to ensure they were fully charged. The indicator light stays on for about 10 seconds and then turns off. Pressing the button results in no actions. It will not turn on to connect to the computer. I tried the reset but that did not work. It is passed the Amazon 30-day return (that figures) so I contacted ohO sunshine customer service number to get some tech support and got an automated request to leave a message. I have still not heard back from them. It should not be this difficult to get customer support. I want to like these glasses, but these bring more aggravation than they should. This should not be an issue with these glasses considering the price that was paid. Please do not waste your time or money. At the time of this review, 20 percent of the reviews are one star. My loss should be your gain by moving on to another product

This is the first time I have purchased a set of camera glasses and I was not disappointed with its quality and high video reproduction. If you want to buy a set of video glasses of fantastic quality, this set would be it. Compared to many other competitors I checked, Oho glasses’ value is exceptionally high. I will be buying another set for my family’s travels.

Replacement failed to work after a few months. Ready to give up, it was generous that the company sent me a third pair in exchange for this review. I’ve had the glasses for a few months and seems to be working thus far. Before I give a better rating, I want to use these glasses for a year covering the warranty, to see if they hold up without any glitches, as they are a frequently returned item.
I can say with sincere approval, that the concept of decent looking comfortable glasses with undetectable camera or buttons, appeals to me greatly. The tiny silicone cover for the C-port is useless, as it may give away the stealth operation, because it hangs down from the opening (yet, easy to remove). I wear OHO on trail walks every day. No one can detect the hidden cam, which is located in center brow. No one has ever asked or pointed to this pinhole. So far, so good.
Cons…the cam does not have loop recording. The cam storage must be cleared (uploaded) every wearing. It also does not record in segments like 3 or 5 minutes, only one lo…n…g hour recording. So if you want to find a particular place in the video, you must search. The previous two sets would not function with the required video app that needed to be downloaded. Somehow, someway, this pair plays back in windows…great!

I read a few reviews from others who said they could not get their PC to recognize the device using USB, even after several attempts. This happened to me, I was able to finally connect it, consider trying the following
A) With the glasses disconnected, press RESET which is a small hole near the USB connection using a pin or paper clip and count to five (5)
B) Connect glasses using the included USB C cable
C) There should be a red light that illuminates near the USB connector. This light does NOT necessarily indicate that the glasses are actually connected, or that it is even receiving power via the +5 volt rails, however.
D) If there is still no detection of the glasses SD drive on your computer, inspect the connection again. You may have to press a little harder until you feel a gentle “snap.” If you can see ANY metal exposed on the USB C cable end that goes into the glasses, it is probably not “pushed in” far enough.
E) Once detected, change the CONFIG.txt file – Change “Format” to “Y” (this will erase any files on the SD memory for the glasses) and change “Update” to “Y” from “N” (this will automatically revert back to “N” on reboot)
F) Finally, hold power button x 5 seconds, and press again to reboot.
I suspect that some users may be connecting the glasses and seeing the red “connected” light illuminate, thinking the glasses are actually connected to the USB bus, but this may be a possible minor design flaw.
Otherwise, the image quality is decent for what it is, tested @ 1440/30 fps. No image stabilization though, recommend software stabilizing on editing in your video editor, if possible.

I have tried a few different recording glasses these have been my favorite. Pretty good video quality and sound. Have seen several negative reviews about no sound that is just a settings issue. To fix just need to
1. Plug glass with computer by supply USB cable.
2. You will find out “config.txt” file from the SETTING folder of glasses.
3. Open “Config.txt” file.
4. Edit the 1st line from N into Y if you want to update any settings.
5. Edit the last line of the Audio, change N into Y then save the file
6.. Unplug the USB cable
7. Turn on again glasses and start video recording
8. The sound will be turned on and updated.
Only knock I Will give is that these newer models are now just water resistant older models use to be waterproof.!! Overall definitely satisfied and would recommend to others digging the blue.
