    商品はよかったが、梱包箱が二級品を思わせるものであった。

Great stand for the studio, but not so much for gigging.
Sturdy, not difficult to assemble but would question the durability with frequent reassembly needed when out on the road.
For my purposes solely as a studio frame perfect.

Once this thing is put together, its nice and sturdy. Admittedly, it took me a while to get the pieces arranged to fit myy needs but it is quite versatile. I bought extra arms to add more boutique synths and and my interface and it isnt finished yet. At the rate I keep buying synths, I will probably be buying another stand soon.

I created shelves to hold some of the smaller gear by using 1/4″ thick ABS sheets that are available on Amazon in different sizes. It required drilling some holes in the steel arms, countersinking holes in the plastic and fixing with flat head bolts and nuts. They work quite well and, because the boutique synths are light weight, I could bolt a plastic sheet to a single arm, instead of requiring two. Cable management is another chore but a roll of strip velcro is your friend.

The monitor mount is another story…that was just a day of playing around with different ideas until I was able to get a steel vesa mounting plate affixed to one of the plastic arm supports.

These are not really easy to put together. The second unit I purchased was much easier than the first. Seriously consider buying extra arms from the manufacturer unless all your keyboards are a full 88 keys. I have one fully loaded with a Matrixbrute and a pair of Craves on the top rack, a Deepmind 12 with keys and a custom case for 4 Volca’s on the center rack, and a Korg EX-20 (88 keys) on the bottom rack.

Here’s a handy assembly hint. The EX-20 requires as much width as I can get. My solution was to wrap tape about 1/2″ from each of the crossbars. This was the maximum depth I could insert the crossbars into their receiver, which gave me the width needed for the EX-20. If those crossbars are fully inserted then the stand will be too narrow for the full 88 key piano. Be sure to tighten everything fully. Also, the feet are only about 15″ apart, which makes the overall depth rather slim. It’s still stable even with that weight on the top rack.

I’ve had this thing setup for about a week now. So far I have two keyboards and a eurorack case on it. The support arms and extra tiers are kind of hard to find available (several month lead time currently), so I just bought an entire second stand. If you want an extra tier and 2 or 3 extra pairs of support arms, its about the same cost as an entire stand anyways. This thing feels very sturdy. Based on the comments of people cracking the plastic joint pieces, i’m always very careful to not over tighten them and it doesn’t seem to be an issue at all.

Be aware, this thing is gigantic. The dimensions are posted on the vendors website, so be sure to measure your space. You can change the depth/height of the stand to shrink it a little bit, but at some point you would risk the sturdiness. Another thing to note is that while it is very easy to put together, there aren’t any good directions. After putting it together I took it apart to move one of the top tiers under the arm joint, I would assume that most people would like that setup better, so consider doing that when you set it up for the first time if will be primarily used sitting down (the top tier can get pretty high up otherwise).

What a disappointment. Not for 88key keyboards or heavy keyboards, like a real synth. Very flimsy. Don’t trust your expensive kbd on this stand. I’m glad it was missing pieces or I probably would have kept it.

This rack is just about perfect for what I needed. I figured I write a review to clarify a couple of the other things I saw people mention:

    – The rack is pretty sturdy once it is completely assembled. I wouldn’t want to use it for touring and it will shake for side to side if you give it a little force but I have zero concerns about it falling apart and damaging my expensive gear in studio use. It is strong enough to last awhile.

    – People who are breaking things during assembly are likely over tightening the collars. There is no need to tighten them all the way to closed. Long before that time, things will be firmly in place with no chance of movement.

    – While the width is measured at 58″, you can only use 48″ due to the size of the connecting collars. This is clear in the manufacturers specs.

    – I bought extra set of arms just to put 2 more things on my rack. The only drawback is that items on the same level must be at the same because the arm collar is notched into the crossbar. I solved this by removing the protrusion that sticks out from inside the collar. It’s still a rock solid clamping but I wouldn’t do this for a very heavy item.

    – The rubberized end caps that some complain about falling off haven’t done it to me since assembly. The really serve no purpose by provide you some protection from bumping into end of arms.

    – Assembly is easy but a bit tricky because things don’t stabilize until is completely assembled.

This keyboard “rack” is rock solid product designed more for professional use than for the rest of us. You must stand up in order to use the second and third tier. Only the bottom tier is actually adjustable up or down. The 2nd and 3rd tier are adjustable in a tilt only. Depending on the height (not width) of your keyboards adjustment can be severely limited. This rack does not have an adjustment for width either. Only the the keyboard support rails are adjustable. If I was a pro, I’d consider the more expensive On Stage Rack. As a lazy amateur enthusiast, I might be happier with a lower rack so I may be seated. >>>S.Spurgin
