It wasn’t until I got one of these that fresh squeezed orange juice became a near daily treat. Not only does it do a great job but it’s fun to use. I got one a while ago and would let my mom use it so often I decided she could just keep it and I’d get another for myself. We’re both hooked!
I don’t know that I’d recommend it for every fruit, I use it only for citrus. It works great and gets every last drop, at least most of the time. I learned recently when I was juicing some large lemons with hard, thick rinds that it does have its limits, but normally I wouldn’t buy lemons that hard or thick anyway so I can’t really blame the machine. It gets all the way to the rind so I’ve found when it gets covered with orange bits I get much better results if I clear it off, which takes all of 5 seconds so it’s not much hassle at all.
Between the oranges and lemons I’ve juiced with this I think it’s one of my most used kitchen gadgets, and best of all my hands stay clean the whole time. I also LOVE that it’s rechargeable so I don’t have to look for an empty socket or deal with a cord. It even holds a charge for a long time. I couldn’t be happier.

The images lead you to believe it can juice any sort of fruit, including kiwis and even grapes, but as far as we can tell this only does citrus. That being said, it works great for that.

First of all, I got the product in yesterday. Add juice this morning. It does not take small grapefruits. It does not extract The juice properly, even with the lid on, I had to hold a large grapefruit and squeeze around where it missed extracting the juice I know for a fact, it will not work with a small grapefruit. This item is being rated due to me testing it. Itβs not worth the money. It shouldβve been 9.99 instead of 29.99. Because theyβre still manual hand work that you need to do that the Hurricane cannot do. This is a very poorly constructed item.

This is basically a citrus juicer, which is fine for us because we have citrus treesβtangelo, lemon, grapefruitβand the in-laws have oranges, so we make a lot of juice. Unfortunately, we got this after the season. I was able to try it and see that it works, but next winter we’ll really put it to the test. One thing I like is that it will be easy for my young children to help with, as compared to the manual juicer we’ve been using. I honestly don’t think this type of device is needed for me. I don’t mind the extra work of using a manual, but again, this will allow the kids to be more involved in the production of the juice.
