Fits my large senior dog, provides peace of mind. My dog is just over 10, but has cancer and so suffers seizures. I worried about what would happen if he had a seizure while swimming, as they tend to lock up his muscles momentarily.
This fit as expected and keeps his head above water at the lake, but he still runs around in it comfortably on the waterfront too. He can even wrestle with other dogs, without it being in the way.

Very sturdy and cute life jacket, fits well and the piece that helps their head stay above water is such a good addition! Stains easily and hard to get clean again but definitely recommend!

I got this for my dog in anticipation of our 4th of July trip to the Snake River in Idaho. She’s definitely an experienced swimmer, she’s been swimming every summer of her life since she was one, but this helped me have some peace of mind when kayaking with her for the first time.
We were on the river all day, she had perfect range of motion wearing this and was able to paddle, run, climb, roll, jump, and lounge without any issues. It is very light in terms of floatation, but I think that helped her acclimate more quickly since it would have been about the same amount of floatation she would have swimming on her own.
The handle worked well to get her into the kayak, also helped to pull her back up when she slipped on the dock and fell off. It held up very well to the sticks, dirt, and random trout hooks in the area. I have no doubt this will be around for a while.

We love this life jacket. We have a pool so we use it often on our doodle. She loves to swim around and what’s nice is the jacket has handles on the top to guide her around and pick her up if needed. She doesn’t like things on her body but took to this quick so it must be comfy. Well made and gives her good coverage. Her head is always above water. Very impressed!

Purchased a SMALL for our 10lb toy poodle. It arrived almost immediately and it fits and works perfectly. Our pup loves the water and we were looking for a study and affordable jacket. The best feature is the handle across the top of his back. The front piece keeps his head up and the sturdy construction gives me confidence that it will keep him afloat. The straps are adjustable and most importantly, he didn’t fight to get it on or to hang out all day in it. The bright orange color lets me find him in and out of the water easily. 10/10!

I have a 55 lb boxer with a 30in chest. Summer of 2023 I got a large orange and it fits her great. Works well for swimming in an above ground dog pool. Not the highest quality vest but economical (you can see in a few pics where the orange has started to break after about 5-6 times of wearing for about an hr each. I wanted to get another vest this summer (2024) large but in pink. The elastic Velcro chest strap is 1-2 inches longer on each side on the pink one and was too big on my dog. The vest/flotation part was the same size in the pink and orange.
I then tried ordering the pink in a medium and it was significantly smaller. It was more of a small/medium. The straps didn’t reach to buckle them around my 30 in chest dog. The flotation part was also much smaller. Very frustrating.
I’m going to return both the pink and possibly get anotjer orange large to see if it’s the color that is causing the difference in sizing. I read another review noting the orange ran a little smaller. I’m rather frustrated because what I thought was going to be an easy order is resulting in 3 different perches attempts.

Our dog was comfortable. It fits like his harness, and he let us put it on without a fuss. He was able to jump, swim, and float while wearing this life jacket. Great Purchase. We love the handle on the life jacket, we used it without annoying our pup. This was our pup’s first time in deep water. He did not always have a way to get out without help, so, this was an added layer of protection.

I bought this for my 18 month old Doberman approximately 80 pounds. With a little adjustment it fit perfectly. Teaching her to sit on the kayak she fell in several times. It kept her floating and she could easily swim to shore. I would highly recommend this for boaters or people who take their dogs to swim. Better safe than sorry.

Bought 2 (orange and yellow), both large, for our 2 Golden’s who are relatively the same size (we measured both of them and ordered sizes per product description). The elastic Velcro chest strap was more than 2 inches shorter on each side on the orange one and did not fit appropriately. The yellow fit perfectly. We didn’t realize the size discrepancy until we went to use them and the orange one didn’t fit properly – Velcro strap was too tight and wouldn’t hold. The actual flotation portion and clip straps were identical on both (photo shows them slightly offset).
Otherwise they worked great and seem like good quality. The dogs didn’t mind them at all, they were able to swim much longer without exhaustion, and there was no choking on water. Wish we had gotten them much sooner. Will be returning the orange one and ordering another yellow with hopefully the correct size Velcro strap.
