This rod is a permanent fixture in my SUV. I initially thought the rod was going to be too small, but it was actually longer than I thought it was going to be. I was able to adjust it to fit to the size of my SUV and it is perfect. It is sturdy enough to handle my massive collection of t-shirts. I wash them on a rotation so I wash a lot of t-shirts at a time. I hang the wet t-shirts on the rod and I have absolutely no issues at all. This is also a good rack for hanging your work clothes when you go to the gym. they are not pressed against a window on the small hangers in the car. This rod works for my lifestyle. Good product except for fitting the car handles. Tried it in 3 different cars and it does not sit tightly on the handles above back doors. Had to rig it up some to make it work. Tried it in a Honda CRV, an Nissan Altima and Hyundai Santa Fe.

I like the fact that it’s a decent size diameter, there are “grids” on the bar that can be moved around based on what is being hung and those grids also keep the hangers from sliding around when driving, turning, etc. There are two different ways for the bar to be hung based on the design of the hooks on the sides of the back seat which is a plus, because it can be used in either of our vehicles. I would say the sturdiness of the bar and the grips that are on the bar to keep sliding to a minimum are the best features about this particular bar.
