I bought this for our road trip and tried it out before the trip. One of the edges game apart. I think it was just a defective product because after I sewed that one side it worked perfect! It holds quote a bit and kept trash from being thrown on the floor of the car.

I was really excited about this trash can. I installed it in my vehicle right away, buckled it around my center consul, letting it hang into the back row of seats. I noticed on day two it was already ripped. The “seam” between the sides had come apart. It was near the top of the bag and I figured it would still be functional. With a toddler we fill up the trash rather quickly so within 2 weeks it needed emptied. I unbuckled it to take it to the trash to empty it and realized the seam on two sides had completely disconnected the whole length of the bag. The seams aren’t sewn but I’m assuming melted together, and I’m guessing the heat of the summer inside a vehicle (mind you WY, not TX or anywhere in the south) was too much for it. I’m really disappointed. I do not recommend this product.

The trash can is easy to attach to the car with the adjustable strap and clip- I did use a bad inside of it so I am hoping to not need to test it’s waterproof ability too much- I did use it to pick up a backers dozen of corn on the cob at a roadside stand that was out of bags the other day. There was still room to spare and it was unpeeled- Of course the bag was clean still. The bad is nice and sturdy. It is collapsible so it can store out of the way.
I would recommend this better than a little gas station bag. And it looks nice.

This little trash bag has saved my car from my own laziness. In the past, I’ve tended to allow straw wrappers, receipts, soda cans, and more pile up until it becomes too gross to allow anymore. This trash bag has absolutely changed my habits. It’s easy to reach behind the passenger seat and toss all that garbage into the bag, rather than the floorboard. It keeps my car presentable and makes clean up ten times easier too. Just dump the bag! This bag in particular is made well, it’s held up to my abuse for a year now with no signs of slowing down. The inside is lined with a plastic coating to prevent leaks and make cleaning up any sticky messes inside much easier. It’s also closeable at the top and easily folds down to a small package if you need to put it away. All in all, an excellent addition to any car.

We took a cross country trip and used this to help keep the trash under control. I hung it behind the driver seat so the passenger could reach it. It hung from the head rest. It worked out great. It is sturdy and large enough to hold a lot of trash. We were traveling with our chihuahua who had the entire back seat so we didn’t want it on the floor. It would do fine sitting on the floor though. It worked out better than other car trash receptacles I’ve had. Good product.

Works well, the soft sides collapse a bit too easily. Depending on where you use it. I hung mine on the back of my truck’s center console for trash, and reaching back to find it collapsed was disheartening. I made stiffeners from cardboard trash keep it open.

I have bucket seats with a center console. The gear shift lever is not located in the console (wasn’t too excited in attaching that way for starters). I has some 3M tape (TB3571/Tb35672) left over from another project. I cut seven inches off of each roll. I then attached the two together without removing the tape. I moved the passenger seat as far forward to make sure there wasn’t any interference. I place the bag up against the side of the console to give me an idea where the best attachment point was. I took the strap of the bag and just looped it around the attached strap. I then placed the bag on the floor which gave me my point of reference as to where to attach the tape. I then removed the plastic from on tape and attached it to the bag. I then removed the second tape and then pressed that area to the console. I gave the bag a test to see if it would still stay up with garbage in it….no problem. I have order some plastic bags from Amazon and it’s a hit or miss as to what best size works. I will get back to you all once I know which plastic bag works the best. Based on the inspection of the item, it appears to be well constructed…..only time will tell

I purchased this a couple years ago for my truck that we use to two our fifth wheel. So far, only 18,000 miles on truck. The bag only gets used on trips so really hasn’t had a lot of use. I would say it is basically serves the function it was purchased for. But while empting today I noticed the seam had separated … then I noticed the seams are only glued, not stitched. For the price of this bag, I would expect better seam quality.
