I have high end pans from Williams Sonoma that cost 4x as much and have failed in so many aspects – poor heat distribution, easily scratched non-stick, staining, chipped enamel, must hand-wash only, no oven, etc. For the price here, this OXO non-stick set is awesome. I love it for so many reasons. The heat distribution is wonderful and the food cooks beautifully. It’s easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. It can go in the oven!! So far, the non-stick is holding up beautifully. They aren’t too heavy, nor are they too light. These are the pan of my dreams for all these reasons – and they are affordable. I would recommend them to anyone out there looking for a functional, beautiful set of pots and pans that won’t break their budget and will last long enough to get your money’s worth. The price here is also lower than other retailers – Walmart $299, Target $299, etc. so even better. Note – This review is for the 12 piece non-stick anodized pots and pans set. I do not have the griddle which is being reviewed here as well.

After 6 months of regular use, here are my takeaways:
– Handles get hot if you have a gas stove
– As others mentioned, if you have cast iron grates, the bottoms will get scratched.
-Using only plastic utensils, scratches are minimal – and I THINK the culprit here is hand washing. I use sponges that are non-stick safe & never had this issue in the past. Oxo strongly advocates using the dishwasher to clean them & now I see why. Unfortunately, unless I bought at least one more set, this just isnโt feasible.
– the lids are suspect. They make a cracking noise that has me half sure itโs about to explode. We donโt really use lids, but now Iโm extra hesitant.
Overall, itโs a solid every day pan set, but will likely need to be replaced before year 5.
Outlander –
I first just bought a single eight inch saute’ pan to use for a while and see what I thought. It’s a really good, well made pan that works well and is easy to clean up. After using it for a couple of months, I liked it so much that I decided to buy the whole set and replace my old cheap, beat up pans. I’m just as happy with the set as I was with the first one. Again, well made, durable, very good nonstick properties and easy clean up. If I ever manage to wear these out, I would buy them again.

I bought these pots and pans 6 months ago and I have been very happy with them. The nonstick function has not diminished at all and I use these daily. They are also super easy to clean. Even when I get lazy and let them sit overnight with food crusted on, they still clean up super easily. I have only hand washed these pots and pans though, I have never put them in the dishwasher.
The only downside I have seen is that the handles on the pots and the lids get hot very easily so I need to use pot holders to handle them. I do not have this problem with the pans though, as the handles are longer.
I gave durability a 4/5 star rating simply because the lids are made of glass. They are surrounded by metal which strengthens them, but I donโt consider anything made of glass to be durable.

I bought these four months ago. They are already losing its colour, and the scratch very easily. I make sure to be careful and use the proper utensils and I hand wash them. Still lost its colour and lots of scratches.
Also half the handle heats up with the pot so you have to be careful where you grab. Same with the lids too.
The only nice thing about them are that they are easy to clean.
I bought this set because of the comments were so positive. Just be careful. They are not worth the money..

I’d been a fan of OXO skillets for some time. They’re heavily used in my house, and the price was good enough that I could replace it every couple of years. So when my 25 yr old Circulon pans were losing their non-stick-ness, I decided to see if OXO had a pots/pans set. I was apprehensive at first because they’re a little different shape and capacity than some of my older pans. I ended up loving them so much, I bought a second set. They go on good sale now and again – I got both sets for just about half price. It’s been over a year now, and I’m still pleased as can be.
I only kept one of the old pots, and that was so I could use a metal steamer basket in there to do hard-cooked eggs. I don’t have to worry about it getting scratched up – it’s already there. I’ve been golden with everything about the OXO.
Love the glass lids, the ease of cleaning, the way they’ll nest or stack depending on what you want for your space, the lids being well-interchangeable… very, very happy with these.

I’ve been using this set for four years now, and I’m really pleased with the performance and how well it’s stood up. The nonstick surface still works like new. If you take care of your cookware, it will take care of you ; ) Only use silicone or other nonmetal utensils. Some Bar Keepers Friend occasionally, keeps the outside and bottoms looking great. The lids fit perfectly, and the small pan is perfect for fried eggs. I ended up purchasing an extra small frying pan and the 12 inch large frying pan with lid. It is a go to pan for dinners, and works like a trooper. The pens do fine in the oven also, up to 390ยฐ. The set has a beautiful look, like Calphalon, at a fraction of the cost. I have never been disappointed in any product I have purchased from Oxo. Their design, manufacturing and Quality Control is top-notch. If I ever decide to replace them, I will purchase another set from OXO.

I have ever bought in a set. I had bought the dual the OXO dual frying pan set based upon a review of America’s Home Test Kitchen of a non-stick frying pan. When I saw this set with lids, I did not waste my time in ordering the set. The set is beautifully fabricated and finished. The non-stick surfaces are German engineered and seems superior in all cooking scenarios. Eggs never stick and will cook miraculously under very low heat in a matter of a few minutes. No more nasty crispy edged fried eggs. The set is perfectly heavy enough and balanced such that the pans always sit flat on the heating elements. The materials are all top notch to create a perfectly balanced heated cooking surface. The silicone grip handles are completely heat resistant and fit any sized hand perfectly. I am very happy to have found this set. Do not forget to buy a good set of nylon tools to go with your set. I would suggest the Joseph Joseph Elevate Carousel.
