First the bike itself is not bad. I’m new to cycling and did not want to spend much, I should have spent a little bit more.
Pros: easy to assemble. Good beginner bike
Cons: seat is hard as a rock. You can not upgrade the bike much as far as quick release skewers, you are stuck with the the old bolt in on the tires. Which sucks when out changing a flat. Customer service sucks, my front disc brake is warped and requested a new one. Have not heard from them. The brake levers seem not effective and flimsy but that could be me. The stock tires and tubes do not allow for optimal road psi 80-180. You can tell the difference.
Spend the extra money and get a bike you do not have to upgrade. There are some on here for a little bit more.

So let me start off by saying I’m just getting into bike riding and I got this bike thinking I could use it to start off on my journey. 5 days of using it and the 7 speed switch lever broke. I contact PanAm about the problem and the process of communication was annoying. They only communicate at 2:30 in the morning and I would respond around 7:30 in the morning then would have to wait for then to respond around 2:30 the next morning. Being that I am not bike savvy and would have to take the bike to the shop to get fix they offered to give me a discount on a new lever. I was like man just send me a new bike because I only had this one for 5 days and it already gave me problems. I got tired of the communication process taking forever so I told them forget I will take care of it myself. After doing some research I decided to upgrade the bike and when my parts came in I took the bike to the shop to be repaired. The guy at the bike shop did a great job with my repair but he told me to be prepared to do some more work in the crank shaft and the switch gear because the parts were ver cheap and poorly installed. He told me in 11 months the bearings will most likely wear out. I am a loyal person so I already committed myself to fixing it up but he recommended me to just purchase a better bike especially if I plan on using it a lot. My suggestion to anyone who is considering purchasing this bike is to just go buy one for about $350. Stay away from this bike yes it looks great especially with the upgrades I did to it but this bike is cheaply made. I’m 42 so the guy at the shop said that’s why he give it 11 months at most with me if no upgrades are made he said if this bike was given to a kid it would last about 2 weeks.

Very fast, was easy to put together. One thing I hate is the V’breaks. In the description it said it had both… oh well still worth it for a starter bike. Oh seat sucks, your gonna want to replace that!

Light weight road bike is great for beginners. I am doing my first triathlon in March, so I bought this bike to train and race with. The assembly is easy. I am not a good builder so it was helpful that there is a video on the Amazon page. I did have problems with figuring out how to adjust my brakes because I am unfamiliar with road bikes, but I contacted the seller and they were able to help. The seller responded by with details to help me within 24 hours. If I were to go back in time, I would buy this bike again 100%. 5-stars!

The bike is great. It is a little on the heavy side. It weights in around 33lbs. Is okay with me. I’m not a pro or anything. I’m using it to just get in a bit better shape and I go in the morning at 0500hrs to get my methadone a few times a week. Round trip is right at ,12 miles. So peaceful riding at 0430 and with little to no traffic is so nice. I am just starting to get back into shape. I figure this is a great way to start. I did train on my indoor trainer. For about 10 days. Like treadmills biking stationary and running treadmills are about the same. They are so much more difficult to do. You have to have great discipline. I find running on track and street running much more enjoyable and just more the natural rhythm you can into. I did see some people have had problems with things happen during shipping. Over all the bike is nice. As I said it is heavy but hey that means I get a better workout. Love the 3 spoke rims. You can’t go wrong for this price either.

On my first day taking it to work (5.4 miles away, so 10.8 in total, to and from) it fell apart on me. I was going about 10mph on average, went no more than 15mph fastest. On the way to work, one of the brake pads of the front tire fell off so we’re ALREADY starting off bad; I had to use the rear tires only for the trip back home. Then, on the return trip, while I stopped at an intersection, the front tire just falls off. Thankfully, it happened only a couple blocks away from home so I didn’t have to walk all that much. But at that moment, I honestly wasn’t even worried about the bike, I just couldn’t help but think about what would have happened if the tire decided to fall off WHILE I was riding over 10mph on a busy street. I would have no doubt ended up in a hospital bed.
Honestly I knew this was very cheap for a road bike but I thought “Come on, a bike this cheap couldn’t be all that terrible” and would satisfy my basic wants and needs. But I guess this is a lesson that there is a limit to frugalness and that certain things you simply cannot cheap out on… Just gotta bite the bullet and put down the big bucks for things that are truly worth it. If you are a beginner, do yourself a favor, be a bit more patient, save up a little longer and get yourself a solid bike for a couple hundred more that’ll truly last you. For your money and most importantly, YOUR SAFETY.

Really nice bike for the price. Just put together and put the first 5 miles on it today. Easy to put together, tools supplied (an all in 1 wrench & alen wrenches), well packed & padded. Took about 45 minutes to assemble & be on the road. Feels sturdy, rides nice, shifts well, brakes are good (needed adjusted) all I’m all a great bike. I’ll update this review in a couple months after putting some miles on it.
