What has happened to Panasonic cordless phones? They are now total garbage producing only the lowest volume even on the highest volume setting. I have tried a variety of different Panasonic cordless models and they all have the same low sound quality issue and I’ve had to return all of them. This model was my last attempt to find a Panasonic cordless phone with somewhat decent volume. By the way, the issue is not with my ears (I am not a senior and am not hard of hearing). If you must buy a cordless phone, choose another brand.

Easy to install, great sound quality

I purchased this phone for my mother who is hard of hearing last year. Not only does she talk on it all day but my 1 year old son has banged this phone around countless times throughout the day. This phone has taken a few hard hits and is still standing so that proves that it is sturdy, good quality and reliable. This was a good buy because it was inexpensive serves it purpose and after several months of abuse actually still rings and has no issues.

This phone is a replacement for 2008 Panasonic cordless phone, I basically see no difference in 2008 model and this model only added feature was call block button. The quality of the phone got decreased over time because the 2008 model was very sturdy and fine quality that’s why it lasted that many years with 3 kids in home. In general the operation of the phone is very easy, installation of numbers, checking the call logs etc is very easy. All in all it is a good basic landline phone.
The amazon delivery was efficient and product was well packed. Happy with this purchase.

The quality of the phone is very good. The initial set up is a little confusing as you must type in codes for certain features. We had set our answering machine to answer in 4 rings. It worked for a while, then stopped working. I reset with the code, but answering machine still won’t pick up.

I have been very pleased with this landline phone. It is not too large, yet the numbers and screens are very easy to read. It looks good. It can be set to be quiet and you can select ring tones and can even give certain numbers a particular tone, but you can not turn the base ringer and the receiver tone completely off. so it is never going to be entirely silent. The true advantage of this phone is the one-button call block. As anyone with a landline knows, a landline means spam calls galore. After using this for a month, I have cut those calls by over 70% with just a push of the button. I especially enjoy pushing the button as the person is still talking =)

I had previously picked up a call blocker at retail which blocked my internet access – returned it. I found this Panasonic phone with call blocking and an answering machine and it does not block my internet access. It works so well. I was receiving up to 10 spam calls a day which was very annoying. With my Panasonic I am able to block incoming calls or add them to the blocked list after they hang up. Love my new unit.

Got this from my mom. I liked that it could block the scammers with one button.

We ordered this phone as a replacement to a cordless phone that we had paid an outrageous amount of money for similar features, but that lasted five years.
The new Panasonic KX serves as my office line in my home office. It not only looks sleek and modern, but it works great. Even for when I need to walk outside to get the mail or pick up the kids from the bus stop, the long range keeps my calls engaged.
I enjoy the talking caller ID, which allows me to keep working on my computer without having to look up to the handset to see who’s calling. I only wish there was a headset jack, so I can go hands-free, but the speaker phone is located on the handset (as opposed to the base) and works well.
There is a call blocking feature that many other posters have complimented heavily. I have not had the opportunity to test it out (yes, I thank my lucky stars 🙂 ) but given that all the other features are as advertised, I am sure it does all it promises to.
Packaging was good and easy to open. There was very little set-up needed. I just plugged it in and it was good to go.

¡Recomendado al 100%!

The Panasonic Phone System is not as good as I had expected. The phone I had before this one, was also a Panasonic, and I loved everything about it. This one is good, except for the volume. When I put the phone on speaker phone, I have a difficult time hearing what the person is saying, unless I am very close to the phone, and the setting is as high as it goes, which is not very high. My hearing is good too, by the way! Other than the volume, it seams to be pretty good. I haven’t had it very long yet, so time will tell. My other Panasonic phone went for several years.
