Great pedal wrench – but doesn’t work with Nashbar or look keo pedals. The reason is that the pedal only screws or unscrews with an Allen wrench
Jason Wilson –
It’s a big pedal wrench that takes the pain out of getting your pedals on and off. It’s Park Tool and represents the quality you expect from them.

Herramienta de muy buena calidad. Cabe perfectamente.

Glad I got this. My pedals say they are 9/16 so I bought this tool because it has both 9/16 and 15 mm size. When I try to use the 9/16 it was not the correct size, it turns out the size I needed was 15 mm. It made easy to take the pedals off so I could take them apart, clean them and repack with new grease. Worth buying and makes your job easier. I recommend this tool.

Great, solid tool for home use, removing pedals from bicycles. Not as well made as the older version I own but maybe the old one was a bit overbuilt? Great and useful and essential tool for your bike-tool-box.

This is one of those tools you don’t think you will need because chances are you already have a wrench to do the job. Well, let me tell you an adjustable wrench is going to make things unnecessarily difficult, because a) it is too thick to properly engage with the pedal sometimes, b) unless it is a larger wrench it will not give you the proper leverage to unscrew the pedals but if it is larger it will definitely be too thick to go in c) the adjustable wrench will slip and you will either damage the bike or your fingers in the process. Do yourself a favor and get the proper tool for the job the first time! In my case I tried removing the pedals using a hex key (impossible) and an adjustable wrench (they would not budge even after using a hammer to hit the wrench in the proper direction). With this pedal wrench, all that was needed was a bit of force and presto! the pedals came right off in a few seconds, and installing the new pedals was a breeze as well.

Not sure exactly why some pedal tools cost triple of what this Park tool costs. This tool is great for taking off Pedals and the long handle allows almost anyone the ability of switching pedals with little ease.
An Added bonus is the small hole right above the two sizes, as I have peg board in my garage shop so this easy fits on a peg.
I recommend this to anyone who rides and possibly wants to switch pedals.
Also, many bike do not include pedals, and I would not recommend someone to use an adjustable wrench. They are far too wide and will damage not only your crankset, but also your pedals.

A little expensive but works much better than a standard wrench and allowed me to change the pedal quickly without damaging anything. Very Sturdy, specialized tool.

Super useful and makes installing/removing pedals a breeze. You think you can do it with a regular ol’ wrench until you realize the head won’t be thin enough to fit between your pedal & the crank. Having the right tool is key to making life easier, and at less than $30 for the PW-3, the benefits far outweigh the hit to your wallet.
Best if you can mount the bike on a mechanic’s stand so the cranks spin freely in either direction – allows you to simply keep the wrench at the same angle & let the pedals do the work. Two different opening sizes means you can use this on a huge variety of bikes, should the need arise.
