Joshua Mills –
I got the vanilla one after reading some other reviews. It’s actually pretty tasty compared to the plant protein powder I used before. It’s not chalky and mixed in very well. I like that it ca. Be mixed with water or dairy. Half and half worked well for me. Not overwhelmingly peanut, but has a nice vanilla taste. Doesn’t smell bad at all. A little expensive for the size of it, but the quality of the product kind of makes it worth it to me. Got probably the hardest workout I’ve had in a while after using it today.

After using their peanut butter for a while for the calorie benefits I was hesitant to use this one. 60 calories to 190 calories is a big jump. The macros and taste is what makes it worth buying. You’re getting two scoops compared to the 2tbs of the regular peanut butter powder AND IT TASTE BETTER.
While it has less protein than a typical protein powder (20g to 190 calories versus 30g to 150 calories) it mixes way easier and has no after taste. The texture is exactly like the standard peanut butter powder version. The smell is amazing. The taste and smell of the cocoa comes through.
It’s not very thick by itself. I mix it with pumpkin purée to make it thick and it creates a consistency in the middle of brownies and cookie dough. Add some instant coffee and salt and boom it actually taste like a natural Reese’s brownie.
Did I mention that the jar is packed? No seriously to the brim. This ain’t no chip bag cheapskate product. No damage and was sealed perfectly fine as well.

I have tried many vegan protein powders as I can’t take whey due to stomach sensitivity. Somehow this particular powder leaves a bitter taste after drinking it. The only way I can take it is if I blend it with a different brand (vanilla flavored).
Sad because I consume PB2 powdered peanut butter and it tastes great. I was expecting the same from this but was disappointed.

Delicious and vegan!!! Win win!! So good

I’ve been looking for a plant based protein powder that a) doesn’t have stevia and b) actually tastes good and blends well for YEARS. Where has this been all my life?! It’s delicious, no gritty texture, no stevia aftertaste (because it’s sweetened with monkfruit which we love!!), and the first ingredient is actual peanuts. I just blend it with soy milk or chickpea milk and have a perfect shake every time. Will be repurchasing forever.

My doctor recommended that I start drinking protein shakes in the morning (actually, she wanted me to replace lunch with a protein shake, but that was so not happening!) I’m not a breakfast person and usually just drink black coffee in the morning, but I decided to try this in my coffee. It tastes pretty good, but I do have to stir it a lot to make sure I get it all into me without leaving a big clump at the bottom of my coffee mug.
This stuff is expensive, so to make it last a bit longer, I use one scoop instead of two and shake it up with one cup of skim milk the night before to give it time to dissolve a bit before I try to stir it into my coffee. It mixes a lot better than the whey protein powders I had tried previously, but it still doesn’t really dissolve. It kind of floats around in the liquid, and you have to stir it to keep it incorporated as you drink it.
Like I said, it does taste really good, though. If I don’t have it in the morning, I find myself craving it. I prefer the vanilla to the chocolate flavor.
The Cruz Experience –
I purchased this protein after purchasing PB2 Peanut Butter previously. The protein has a great taste, blends well with fruit, greens or anything else used in a protein shake without any type of aftertaste. With that being said, I began to experience stomach issues after approximately 2 weeks. When I realized my issues began when I started incorporating this protein, I stopped using it. The day after I stopped using it, my stomach issues subsided. If you have a sensitive stomach, perhaps do a little research before making this purchase.

I never write reviews, but I had to on this one. I’ve tried many different protein powders, some of the more popular name brands, and to say I’ve been left dissatisfied would be an understatement. Enter PB2 Protein. The peanut butter Dutch cocoa is like a less sweeter Reese’s cup, but in a good way. Not over powering, not sugary, literally perfection in a cup. And the blending!? Fantastic. Literally zero clumps. 10/11 would highly recommend.

My most favorite vegan protein powder! Great taste and best of all it mixes so well. This is going to be my go to protein powder.
