The product came in a good condition package. Came with a good black case. The product itself looks well constructed with good materials. Unfortunately all the accesories: Interchangeable Cams and tools ( main key, hex wrenches) did not came with product.

One thing to notice is that, when reading the manual, the black cam should be installed from factory. But it was the BLUE that came pre-installed. So red, white and black cams are missing.
I feel disappointed because the product main advertisement is based on the Interchangeable cams, so you can choose the one that fits best to you. And i am not able to do that right now. If someone knows where i can get these cams separately, please let me know.
Final thought is: remember to check that your pedal has all the cams and tools when you receive it.

    groovy greetings

I bought several pedals to try out as I am getting back into drumming after a number of years. The only pedal that I personally liked more than this one was the DW 9002, but that costs 200+ dollars more than the pearl and the price difference just wasn’t worth it when the DW only felt marginally better. The DW was a bit smoother and over all felt a little more solid, but that is not to say that this pearl feels flimsy or weak. The interchangable cams mean I can set this pedal up like pretty much any other pedal including the DW 5000 (accelerator AND turbo) and even like the 9000.

    I love this pedal.

I’ve tried all the major brands on the market and I’m convinced that Pearl makes the most resilient, longest lasting, most responsive and easiest to use pedals money can buy. They’re worth the investment.

I’m a rock drummer who plays and records regularly. I retired a 30-plus year old Pearl single chain kick and replaced it with this Eliminator Redline. The amount of customization can be overwhelming, but if you give it a little patience you’ll be surprised how quickly you can get it into your sweet spot.

If you want to keep it beautiful, it comes with a hard-sided carrying case with pouches for tuning keys and beaters. (A nice bonus – there’s just enough extra space in there to fit my favorite pair of headphones.) But if you’re not into treating it like a precision instrument, just throw it in the hardware bag because the thing is literally built like a tank. Like all Pearl hardware the Redline is made to survive many years of real-life gigging.

I haven’t played on the Demon line of pedals yet but I’m not sure what they could have changed. In my opinion they hit the mark with the Redline.

Had an older set of Gibraltars I bought for around $300, they did the job but hard to get fast. Reading many reviews about higher quality double bass drum pedals many state it doesn’t increase speed, that is why I never upgraded. WRONG, yes it’s the drummer and practice but when you have 4 different cams, and all the adjustments on the redline it does makes it easier to go fast. Everytime I press down it snaps right back, my older pedals did not perform that well. Wish I would have done this sooner, and my band mates noticed immediately. Very very happy!

Excelent product. All accesories included. The arrival time was short for a international buy. No problem in payment process.

I was playing on a DW7000 for many years. I then switched to the $600 Pearl Demon Drive (direct drive), because the DW pedal was too harsh on my ankles for long sets. The Demon Drive is extremely well made and very smooth, but after playing on it for at least a few years, I couldn’t quite get it feeling 100% how I wanted, and it still lacked the power of a chain drive.

This pedal was just delivered to me today, and out of the box without any adjustments, I want to say it feels better than the $600 Demon Drive. It is super heavy duty and well-made, is extremely smooth, and my quality of play is better than with the DD. Maybe it’s my preference of chain vs. direct drive, but either way, this pedal seems amazing so far.

My initial con (which isn’t really a con) so far is that there are so many options to adjust the feel of this pedal, that I am almost afraid to mess with it.

Been playing for 30 years. Speedking, DW5000, Mapex Falcons, Pearl Eliminator.

Bought a DW5000 double, played it once, sent it back, as I play with tight springs and this had no way of getting the tension I wanted. The slave pedal had a bit of play as well.

Bought this Pearl and never looked back. The only negative is the slave has dual pillars, which is good for strength, but can interfere with how close you can put it next to your hi-hat pedal.

I used to own the original Eliminator pedal and loved it. I decided to sell it and get the Demon Drive direct link pedal and used that for a long time before deciding that I really wanted to go back to the Eliminator series instead. I bought this pedal to replace my Demon Drive. It was nice to be playing the Eliminator chain pedal again, however I see they have made some changes. The biggest change that bothers me the most is that they have removed the drum key clip from the pedal – it isn’t even any option you can buy later. The original Eliminator pedal had it and the Demon Drive pedal had it, but this one they took it away. I’m guessing Pearl did that in order to make the one less appealing and try to get people to buy the more expensive Demon Drive pedal. Jerks! Otherwise I love this thing. Solid, fast, and good weight to it.
