I was a little concerned, when I saw a couple of negative reviews on this pedal. But I know the brand:Pearl; and I know they just tend to make good products, andbthe price was low enough, that I took the chance.
I am very happy I did! These are great. I don’t know why anyone would review them negatively. I bought the left-handed version. I don’t think the right-handed version will be any different.
It went together intuitively. I’ve played the drums fir 5 decades now, with a single kick pedal, quite successfully, thank you: lol. But as a bucket list thing, I bought this low priced, great quality double bass pedal. It is smooth as silk-both pedals. It was easy to adjust the two strikers to float evenly. It came with a drum key that the pedal gear needs to tighten& loosen stuff as you put it together and attach it to your bass drum, etc. Again, the assembly of this was simple and intuitive. I didn’t need to read the instructions. I was willing to, but as I glanced at the parts, my mind just put it together mentally in just a few seconds. I did what seemed obvious and it worked! I immediately did on the kick drum what I’d been doing with the floor Tom with one hand, that is super fast triplets, with two being the Tom and thekick drum and the 3rd on the snare (“budduh-pop”). It was so cool, because now I had a hand free to play the ride or crash, at the same time I hit the snare, which gave the “pop” portion of the quick-triplet ( not to be confused with a Quick Trip convenience store! Anyway, this is a great pedal, for about the lowest price I’ve seen. I’m a happy little drummer boy.

Well my husband is a drummer and this pedal was put together by manufactur Pearl can not be fixed on our end screws and assembly to tight to move it was put together wrong

I haven’t bought a new double bass in probably 15 years. I searched and compared several models in this price range and this pedal was the best in my opinion. It’s really sturdy and the quality is great. The only thing I had to do was oil the unjoints because they were a little stiff. Great pedal id certainly recommend it. Two thumbs up from me.

this pedals are double pedals only my last lefty pedals had the full rig to be used as double or single pedals and this ones dont have any other option the right pedal lacks kick mount and beater braket so cant be used as a sigle pedal
yup not too happy with that. i have double kicks at home and single kicks at two jam rooms .
also the bracket to attach the pedal to the kick drum its straight garbage a horrible design barley grabs on the screw its under the pedal like those cheap Chinese rooky pedals this pedlas should sale for far less this are not a pro pedal pearl should put more effort in the design they do feel good fast and smooth but they barely grab on my alesis kick pads look at the pic
