For a start you can buy this product for under £4 on temu, same exact product with the same photos and description. It’s cheap quality and is unstable. No clear instructions either

I opened the package this harness came in and could not find instructions to put it together. The cell phone holder has several different ways to set it up and if you’re not familiar with the way the pieces interconnect it could get confusing. I did have to remove my case off my phone to fit, but my case is one of those more rugged cases and abit bigger than most. I did take a walk while wearing this and it held the shooting angle the whole time. And it was pretty ez to switch from landscape to portrait with just a few knob turns. I actually am considering buying a second one.

I’m still trying to perfect the usage of this harness. I’m a soap maker, and I’m trying to film my soap making process and I thought this might be a good way to go about filming. It’s nice that the phone can be on me while I’m filming. However, I’m finding that the videos are always pretty shaky. Obviously since I am moving a lot there’s going to be movement. However, the shake is in reference to the harness itself moving while filming. I’m still working on adjusting it. Maybe in the future I will get better results. However, for the last few times I’ve used it I’m not terribly impressed and I’m thinking of finding an alternative to this harness.

So it is very comfortable and easy to use, but the problem is you can’t use it! No matter what I do the plastic piece that is supposed to hold the phone onto the mount does not stay sturdy and it does not function or preform at all!
When you put your phone onto the chest mount it just immediately falls down in fact I tried tightening and loosening it to make it stay but nothing works, I even got my own screw to try and make it work but nothing, this is not worth the money, it is invaluable and a rip off.

Everything works fine and this was easy to set up. It does feel a bit cheap. That’s to be expected with the price I paid. Well see how long it lasts. Also I would not recommend this unless your phone has a built in stabilizer. It does get a bit shakey.

I am pleasantly surprised. I read some of the negative reviews and so I was nervous but I thought, what the heck, it’s 17 dollars. The one downside is that there are no instructions on how to put it together, and I thought about taking a star off for that, however, all I had to do was look at the images on Amazon and I figured it out, it’s pretty dummy proof. I haven’t taken it out to do anything crazy yet, I really just wanted it for fishing and to stream some hikes, but I walked around my house and my yard and it seemed comfortable, stable. I’m a 5’2″ 120 lb female and it fit comfortably without smashing the girls. I would wear a supportive bra though ladies or it might make the girls look a bit weird. I’ll upload a video to show the stability of it in the vertical position. I tried to pull the phone out of the holder without loosening it and it’s pretty secure, I would have had to break it to get it out. Overall, 4.5/5. 0.5 off for the lack of instructions.

For all those who decry the lack of included instructions it seems the vendor has made a very short but succinct video to show how the 3 pieces go together. And if you’re expecting a finely machined piece of equipment for $17 you’ll be disappointed. But it grips the camera nicely; I’m only using a regular phone, not a max, but the clamp holds it quite well. What I found amazing, and this has little to do with the mount, but I was able to create decent hand-held quality video while walking, slowly and carefully. Not as good as a crane, but decently smooth. As another user has shown, not for horseback riding . And while the camera clamps nicely into the mount, the included lanyard provides some assurance that, should so e piece of plastic fail, the camera will still be attached to you. Very nice.
