For this price point, am very happy with the purchase and delivery experience. Very easy to assemble, delivery was convenient and hassle free. Wasn’t sure how much I’d use this, but has been a great addition to my fitness routine. Was replacing a spin bike, and wasnt sure about whether all the bells and whistles were necessary. Classes are amazing and tracking workout metrics has been a huge motivator. Would highly recommend, great investment in your personal health.

I was debating buying a Peleton for a while, the cost was really holding me back. But, prime day come along and I got a $500 discount on this bike, so I snatched it up immediately. Refurbished bikes on their website are more expensive than what I paid.
I’ll be honest, I was concerned that it wasn’t Peleton delivering it, as they also do the whole set up.. but amazon delivered it on time, the box wasn’t damaged at all which was a relief.
All the parts were inside the box neatly. Nothing was broken, everything was there. It took me around 2 hours or so to set up. The box has a home assembly kit with tools and all the screws you need (with a baggie of extras!)
The setup was not hard at all, just time consuming. The build quality of the bike seems VERY solid also.
It is quite a compact bike, I don’t have a large amount of room in my apartment but the peleton fits very well.
Overall, I’d say it was a great purchase! Although I’m not sure I’d spend the original price for it of $1845 CAD.
If you’re not in a rush but you want the Peleton, I’d definitely recommend waiting for another amazon prime day as the sale is just too good to pass up!

Although I am very much enjoying the bike 5 months, in the criticisms of the bike are valid.
It’s not cheap, and after a hefty purchase you have another expensive subscription that you have to pay for, otherwise the bike is sort of (?) useless. Other much cheaper options with more usability and portability.
I don’t have experience with too many other stationary bikes, especially at this level but the bike feels solid and well put together. For me, it could look great in any room which is a plus, the setup is relatively easy and for my particular preference this was the perfect bike. I tried cheaper options like the wahoos, iOS apps, zwift, and if you’re already a hardcore cyclist or are looking to be one…I don’t think this bike is for you. Especially if you care about accuracy in terms of wattage, output, or already know your FTP. These are things that aren’t too accurate here. If you enjoy guided workouts with classes that are very motivating or like feeling like you’re working out in a group without the actual stress of being around people…I think this purchase is a no brainer. There’s a tremendous amount of courses, helpful trainers, statistics to keep track of, multi week programs to keep you motivated…I enjoy the bike and what it offers, even with all its downsides as in my cursory research there was nothing that did what the peloton did. Your mileage will vary. Always do your research and set your expectations accordingly or you’ll end up with a 1500 clothes hanger.

If you’re on the fence about this, just get it. I know it’s a bit expensive, but it’s a quality product. The adjustability is amazing, it doesn’t take up much room, the display screen is huge, the pedals are so smooth and quiet, and the amount of classes offered are endless. You can cast the screen to your TV, you can connect AirPods, and if you download the Peloton app you can sync your workouts to your Apple Watch. The performance is unmatched. Just be ready because you will sweat!

The Peloton is so worth it. Especially at the Black Friday price I got this for at $1370 + tax. Great for beginners/someone who needs guidance (me lol) and really helps you stay on track while having a great time. It is challenging – so don’t think this will be easy.. but you’ll feel amazing when you complete a class! Keep in mind there is a monthly subscription fee of $55 a month to be able to use these classes .. but do it you will love it!!
Also— Amazon does not assemble this for you so make sure you have someone strong to help you. It is super heavy but very easy to put together

A very sturdy, well- engineered exercise bike. The magnetic resistance beats anything else I’ve tried; smooth even at high resistance, and the closest to in feeling to riding an actual bike. The bike is extremely heavy, so make sure you have at least two strong people to get it to where you need it once delivered- especially if there are stairs involved. Two problems thus far: the user interface on both the touch screen and their website could use some work- they are sometimes irritating to navigate. The biggest issue I have is that the bike pedals require special cycling shoes with cleats, and the bike is unusable if you do not buy them separately. On top of the already expensive purchase of the bike, the shoes cost me $209 after taxes ($185 before taxes), and I have to wait at least 3 weeks for them to arrive. I purchased a subscription to use their workouts, which costs $55/month, and I will not be able to use the bike for most of the first month as I am waiting on the shoes. If amazon has the shoes in your size, you may be able to get them sooner, but I had to purchase mine directly from Peloton. If you order the bike, get the shoes right away, and wait until they arrive to register for the subscription.
Lastly, just after purchasing my Peloton bike, I recently discovered allegations that Peloton attempted to coerce podcaster Theo Von into not having a guest on his show by threatening to withdraw their sponsorship. This is a practice I am deeply opposed to, and if it turns out to be true, i may cancel my subscription and sell the bike (a return of something this heavy would be impossible). If this is something you care about, consider this before making your purchase.

First of all. What can I say about Amazon, you get it next day and don’t have to wait two-three weeks for delivery! I originally ordered it from the peloton website and they said it would take two weeks to get there. So I was mad. Waited a week and peloton website could not deliver it the next day.
So I cancelled my order with peloton and went with Amazon. Amazon has next day shipping and a 90 day return policy instead of the 30 day pelotons own website offered. Make sure you select the very last option for delivery which is the professional delivery and assembly at a room of your choice option.
Upon delivery, they followed my instructions perfectly and set up the bike In the room I wanted. They room out all the cardboard and were very nice and professional. They even put the custom Favero Assioma power meter pedals that I had ordered on. The bike was ready to go after updates.
Performance: configuration of the bike was super easy once you look up how you do it on YouTube. You don’t need the calibration tool. Just do the 1/4 turns and follow the rest of the instructions. The favero duo pedals work very well with the peloton app once they are configured to.
The fact that I can load up zwift on my iPhone and pair it with my new pedals on my peloton bike and it saves the settings is an A++ in my book. You do have to pay for the membership to start the bike, but it’s worth it.
Not super noisy and not as big as I imagined it to be. One thing to note, if you want to use this for zwift it will not work on their monitor. You have to use an external iPhone or iPad and pair your power meter pedals to that. Then it will work. Overall Amazon is A+ love the bike and the quality. They need to go with another third party delivery service for their own website. It should not take 3 weeks to order from the official website.

I live in a remote area and Peleton is not able to deliver in our area. This year amazon started to deliver Peleton bikes in our area! Which is amazing (it is a 6 hour drive to get to a city where they sell them).
Finally I pulled the trigger, and I am so happy I did! Delivery, but Amazon gave me a 175 dollar refund! Which was great.
The box is very heavy had to take it apart in the kitchen to be able to carry it upstairs. Assembling the bike was easy and quick! Bike is sturdy on high carpet, and the screen is wonderful! I thought about buying a knock off version, but so happy I didn’t! The classes are fun and the bike is silent and easy to set to your preference!
Happy with my purchase and will continue to ride, maybe one day I will buy a Peleton +
