I use these as low-beam headlamps in my 2006 Ford Escape 4WD because the car has daytime running lamps and therefore cannot use HIDs. They are simply the brightest bulbs I’ve found to date – but after several years of regular use, they had begun to dim – a new pair, a few minutes under the hood, and I’m back to lighting up the road like daylight. And the 5000K color is as nearly accurate a reproduction of daylight as you can get, no bluish tint to throw off your color perception. For the record, the H11s come individually packaged: if they seem a bit expensive (at around $40 apiece) it should be remembered that the H11 form isn’t a popularly-used one. I’d suspect that stocking costs are higher and turnover is significantly lower than something more common like the H4…

Installed on my 2014 HD V-Rod Muscle VRSCF. The light is definitely white vs the stock Philips bulb that is more yellow.
It’s also brighter, but not by much. I first tried the Philips H11 X-tremeVision bulb and returned it because it looked the same as stock, from what I could tell.
This light bulb wont blow you away, but its more of a subtle difference. I would say 10-20% more light and color is better / more white.
I also know on my motorcycle there is a plastic piece for the low beam that either helps block or reflect the light, so this probably impacted my review, some cars may not have this allowing for more light. Just a side note to people considering for something other then a vrod.
If you’re wanting something more drastic, there are some kits people have used you can read about on 1130cc forum. Similar to HIDs or are HID kits, but you’re looking at spending more money and time installing. Just do some research if that’s what you’re wanting.
The low-beam was a bit tricky on my bike, had to move a few cables out of the way first, and a tip for installing is putting the bulb in first, turning 1/4 – 1/2, attaching the harness, then turning until locked into place.
Safe riding.

I previously had the PIAA ion spark white 3800k on my street glide and Love day it but it burnt out. So I thought that the 4000k would’ve been brighter. It’s a warm white, not a pure white like described.

Much better than stock. only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is these lights only last about 12 -18 months

I buy PIAA bulbs for both our vehicles for superior light and increased visibility. These bulbs emit a very white light which makes standard halogen bulbs appear yellowish in comparison. Years ago I bought Sylvania Silver Star bulbs which also provide excellent light, but they lasted only about six months. Historically these have lasted me about four years, though the most recent replacement was only about 2 1/2 years old. These are not like the blinding light of the new LEDs, but they must be properly aimed so oncoming drivers can see.

The bulbs definitely make a huge difference and are a no-brainer to help get better visibility in your vehicle. They installed and fit as they should.

I first bought the H9 Xtreme White plus for my motorcycle HighBeam, and I am happy with it, so I decide to change the LowBeam with the same bran and product that my HighBeam (H11) and I must say I think this seller have send me a regular bulb with a blue paint at the top, the bulb it’s not even blue as the H9.
I not sure if this it’s the real product or the seller have send me a poor imitation….
