This AVH-X490BS fit the bill for all my needs. I definitely want to set some realistic expectations though.
First of all, I want to talk about installation of this deck. I highly recommend having a professional stop install this. Or at least, if you are a competant installer, plan out all the accessories and cabling you will need. Also, check what kind of space you have in your dash. You may need to remove some plastic. If you do, please make sure not to cut any wires or remove anything structural. I have a Checy Cruze. My installation was fairly detailed using every connector on the back excluding the yellow data plug. There were a few panels that had to be removed and about 75% of the plastic in that area had to be removed.
Performance wise, the deck is very clean. Even on my temporary stock speakers, the rca outputs to a gm-d1004 (stuffed behind the globvebox) sound vastly greater over the factory deck. The init has a mode set up for using a set of component speakers and a sub on a five channel amp and a mode for separate front rear and sub. This gives you tons of options for system setup. The adjustable slope and frequency crossovers, 13 band eq and time alignment really add to the adjustability and enjoyment of sound. I have the factory SiriusXM antenna hooked to an XM receiver plugged directly in the back, an iPhone SE on iOS 10.3.3 (as of the time of this review) aux usb rca aux inputs, my Glaxy S7 on Nougat through Bluetooth and an OEM style backup camera connected and everything works nicely. The only complaint I have about the entire unit is that it is a little sluggish. But this is last season’s model and it’s not top of the line like an AVIC or an NEX Pioneer. My apologies for any typos.

The unit arrived on time and my grandson and his friend installed it in my 23 year old Silverado that I recently purchased. I had already purchased an aftermarket bezel with a larger opening for the double din and wiring adapter is required, but other than that it is plug and play. I love the 7″ screen, the remote, CD player and bluetooth to my phone. With the new speakers front and rear and a 10″ slim box sub woofer with integral amp, this system is awesome!!

We bought this item for a 2000 Honda Accord. The stock speakers were still good and we weren’t looking to blow the doors off so we wanted a double din stereo that would plug in easily and offer the following upgrades:
Bluetooth for audio
Bluetooth phone connection
XM compatibility
This offers all three and works very well. The sound is good through the stock speakers, but don’t expect miracles. We dropped it in the car in am afternoon and everything looks great and works great. Love the flexibility of colors to match existing interior and the CD player is nice in case we need to go “old school” and use one of those relics.
Here are some bits of advice.
1. Buy a wiring harness that will plug directly into your cars existing wiring. Metra makes these and you can buy on Amazon. (Buy a box of 20-22 gauge butt connectors at the hardware store and a crimper for connecting the stereo to the harness.)
2. Buy a mounting bracket for your car. It will not look professional with out it. Metra makes these and you can order on Amazon.
3. Buy a USB and audio plug that can be mounted in the dash or console for a professional look. The USB and aux audio plugs are in the back. So, unless you want wires hanging out of the dash to connect your phone, this is a must. (This is a little more invasive as you have to drill a hole to mount the plug in. We put ours next to the power outlet in the center console and it looks great!)
4. Buy an XM antenna. You have to have one to listen to Sirius XM. The tuner will manage the XM signal and will tune into the stations, but you need the XM antenna to hook into the head unit. (Watch some videos on installation to determine the best way to get the wire from outside of the car through the dash. We used the front column of the car and fished the wire through the dash after taking out the instrument panel.)
5. Watch some videos on how to get the microphone for bluetooth calling in a location you like and get the wire to the head unit.
6. Check Crutchfield for the hardware needed specifically for your make and model. The items described in #1 & #2 are very vehicle specific. Crutchfield wI’ll tell you the exact models you need.

I don’t do 5 stars often.this is a great deck .remotes are hard to get now days it’s nice to have one handy.all in all I’d buy this deck again iv found nothing wrong with it .the complaints about bluetooth are confusing to me I use min but in my truck if I remove my phone from my truck I’d expect it to lose it’s signal . 5 stars and I hope this deck last a few years

Estuve cazando esta pantalla varios meses hasta que la compre en el hot sale bastente mas barata de lo que la vi en diferentes sitios. Trae todos las funciones que puedes esperar , equalizador grafico de 13 bandas, funcion para red de tres vias, crossovers de 12 , 18 y 24 , procesador de sonido, spotify, waze. Lo único es que le tienes que poner un rele para poder ver el video en movimiento.
La calidad de audio es muy buena, lo recomiendo bastante.
