Product arrived late. Paid $150 for an install. Screen did not work or come on. Had to pay for return. Been almost 3 weeks and still no refund.
$500 price tag and nothing!
Don’t recommend. Pioneer is suppose to be a good product that works. Super inconvenient process and waste of money on a professional installed product that didn’t work and obviously was not inspected before shipping. Go buy another product at a local store. You wont loose time & money.

Le doy 4 estrellas por que lo quise conectar a mi ecualisador y de ahi para mis amplificadores lo que no me gusto que cada que prendo el carro se enciende el estereo y se enciende el ecualisador y los amplificadores apago el estereo dando marcha a mi camioneta y siguen prendidos los amplificadores hasta que no doy vuelta al suich de la llave y abro la puerta se apaga de lo demas excelente sonido y conectividad por que pioneer pone el remoto siempre vivo con el estereo

I can’t praise this unit highly enough! Nice clear, highly visible screen, great FM tuner, audio output is powerful with great response range as well. The Android Auto works FLAWLESSLY and is the best thing I’ve ever used! Seamless integration with Google Maps and Pandora makes road trips a blast. Phone auto connects when the car is started within 10 seconds. Hands free function works well too. I bought a backup camera for it but haven’t connected that part yet but I’m sure it’ll be great when we do. A++++ recommended!

CarPlay works well wirelessly screen is crisp all around awesome aside from low power output to speakers, speakers get very loud just will cutout CarPlay when at max I’m going to put in an amp anyhow but great for the price

Installed this radio in my 2002 Honda Accord Sedan and it looks amazing in it. Exactly what I wanted. My iPhone connects to it wirelessly (CarPlay).

Installation was decent, I did have to buy a few extra components mostly due to limitations on my older vehicle. I didn’t have the right adapter for the radio to plug in, but that was cheap and easy to buy. My car also doesn’t have the right wiring to tell the unit that brake was on but it hasn’t been an issue. Maybe I’d be able to do more with it but it works fine without.
Wireless android auto is very quick to connect every time, no lag.

This is a fantastic system and having Android auto in my older touring car is awesome. It’s very responsive with a lot of features. My biggest downfall is the volume buttons. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t want to smash up or down 35 times to turn it up and down. I want to roll a knob, or something more efficient. Maybe give me the option to bump it up 5 at a time.

Wow, I was hesitant to buy this with some of the reviews. Now that I hooked mine up in my 2016 4Runner, those negative reviews or gripes are laughable.
I got the used-like new condition open box but this is well worth the brand new price.
Sounds excellent, wireless CarPlay works great! My steering wheel control interface picked up all my controls perfectly. Siri and phone calls with the microphone are clear with no problems.
I don’t watch video, and you shouldn’t be if you’re driving. This is a stereo, not an iPad.
Anyone who doesn’t think this isn’t the best value for your money either hooked it up wrong, or they are expecting entirely too much.
There is a slight lag switching in between screens at times. That is the only con I can think of.

Most entry level Pioneer head units are easy to install, easy to navigate and have decent sound quality. This one is somewhat easy to navigate, has decent sound quality but the install was a pain. This is the first Pioneer head unit that I have installed where you need to install the GPS antenna. If you do not install the GPS antenna, you will not have a clock or date on the display. The reverse camera input is a brown RCA on the Pioneer, not yellow like most other units. Everything else is self explanatory for installation. The 13 band EQ allows customization across the frequencies to fine tune your speakers output. Apple CarPlay is wireless, or wired, depending on your preference.
