This tackle box is very flexible with its storage configuration, which is key to why I bought it. I am not using it for tackle. Instead, I am using it for sprinkler drip system parts. The upper lid is a little flimsy, but has not broken. I think the hinges could have been made a little more durable.
The main issue I have with this product is the complete lack of instructions on how to implement the dividers. The single-space ones are easy enough to figure out, but the double-space units took some thought. I also believe there should be a few more included in a double-decker box like this.
Overall the box serves its purpose and has held up well over the past few months of service.

Update after 1.5 years of spotty but heavy use: I really wanted to like the large satchel more, but it’s just not great, and one of the darn top clips just broke. The top seal is very poor, even when I take the time to line it up properly. Not that it’s supposed to be waterproof, but just gently spraying the top to get sand and salt off guarantees water inside the box, I can’t even figure out how it gets in. The spinnerbait holder is a good idea but since I use large spinners, I like to use the stackable top piece, and it’s just too flimsy to rely on. Way too much time spent trying to make that work. This has potential but is made so poorly I just can’t recommend it. I do not use my gear gently, I don’t intentionally abuse it either, but I expect a box to be able to handle kayaking and shore and jetty fishing maybe 50 times a year (yes I’m gainfully employed, but one of the perks in San Diego is you can pop off to the bay or shore any time you have an hour or 2 to spare). This just ain’t it. I’m going with a flambeau salt water system bag next to see if that’s a more realistic choice. The price isn’t bad, and I can probably still use it around the house for additional tackle storage, so I’m just knocking it down to 3 stars. I still use the smaller box for small trips, trout etc. it’s fine for that. I think the problem with the big one is it’s too big for the materials used to maintain integrity.
I own both sizes, this review is mainly for the larger box. It is huge, and a couple of the minor complaints brought up by other reviewers are true, the top lid does not close flush with the organizers so you can’t really leave the loose stuff in the box or it will move. I put everything in small Ziploc bag so it’s not a big deal for me. Loose plastic baits and stuff aren’t a problem, they’re big enough not to move around. The bottom handle does not close super tightly, the other suggestion of wrapping electrical tape around it is perfect. The big box is absolutely huge, I can easily keep everything I need for many species of fish in it, along with maintenance stuff. I fish from a standup paddleboard a lot, so the big box is too awkward to take along for that, the smaller box is great for that purpose. If you’re fishing from a boat or shore, the big box can hold everything you need and then some.

They survive about 4 years of my abuse which is moderate but top cover breaks easy if you over fill box and hooks and baits get caught in the closing seal around the edges but fits my needs well .
Amazon Customer –
Durable and has a lot of cubbies for your fishing gears.

Très bon produit. Suffisamment de compartiments pour nos besoins. On aime bien l’utilité du compartiment à rabat dans lequel ont peut préparer des lignes d’avance sans que ça s’entremêle.

I love this tacklebox. I have a very large Guide Series Plano tackle box that houses most of my stuff ( I have a LOT of gear). I use this satchel as my “go-to” box. It has the lures and equipment I use the most often. If I am fishing, this is my grab and go. I can carry it places where I have to hike in or where there isn’t much room for tackle (when I use a kayak). If I’m taking out a my john boat, i bring both. Same for fishing “trips”
Pro’s:
Large without being large
Easy to Carry
Great Storage options
Visibility on top
Soft plastic storage underneath
Customizeable storage inside
Con’s:
The Spinner Bait storage system isn’t great. Instead of having two, double tiered racks, I’d prefer one. I use large spinners so they get tangled with each other

Love this product – lots of storage space in the top section for pens, pencils, scalpel, blades, tools etc and larger items and some projects can be stored underneath.
Apparently there are smaller storage boxes which can be slotted inside – I need to look into these.
5/5 stars

Is great , bought to replace my older version that was 10+ years old.
Amazon Customer –
Great Box! I have All of my Raspberry Pi and Arduino gear in it. Huge deep box with a lot of room. It holds 4 smaller Plano boxes in the bottom for small parts (not included but available on Amazon or any Walmart store) I combined 7 smaller boxes into this one large box.
