This item was not new! it showed up in a nondescript cardboard box that have been reused from a previous purchase, and when I opened it, the item was inside the box. It wasn’t wrapped in any sort of protective, packaging. They were no instructions or any material about the product. It works fine for my needs.

ビジネス用途、開発用途であれば特に問題を感じることはありませんが、
本格的なクリエイティブ用途にはDisplayLinkは適さないと思います。
・映像の遅延が発生しますが、極わずかで気になりません。
マウスカーソルの追従性からして実用上問題ありません。
ですが30hz以上のリフレッシュレートには対応できないように思います。
高レートの動画プレビューには適さないと思います。
・映像がにじみますが、極わずかで気になりません。
純粋なHDMI出力よりわずかにエッジが”にじみ”ますが、実用上は気になりません。
ですが高精細な画像編集には適さないと思います。

I bought a used Plugable 7-in-1 USB C Docking Station to set up dual monitors with my MacBook, and it has exceeded my expectations. Despite being used, it works perfectly without any noticeable lag.

No complaints. Works as advertised. Keeps my 2 monitors working with my MacBook Air M2 over USB-C.
The rest of the ports work fine too. Make sure that you install DisplayLink software for Mac OS.

Takes seconds to download the DisplayLink software, then it is plug and play. Super easy to use. Had a slight technical issue a few months in and customer service was very responsive.

Edited: I tested this out on both my Macbook Pro and my Windows laptop, switching back and forth successfully, and both monitors worked in synch with the laptops screen no problem. I didn’t use it for a couple weeks because I had no need to. The very first time I went to use it to work from home with my work laptop, the laptop wouldn’t acknowledge the monitors if plugged in through this hub. (They work when plugged in any other way.) It still worked through the Macbook, so I figured it was an issue with the work computer. Now, only one day later, my Macbook has also stopped acknowledging either of my external monitors when plugged in through this device. Tried to see if the driver they require needed to be updated, but I already have the latest version. Tried restarting, unplugging and replugging in everything, shutting down and starting back up, everything. Nothing. Glorious waste of $90+ and a couple hours of my time.

I went through 3 hubs trying to find one that would successfully extend my HP work laptop’s display to both of my LG 4K monitors without drastically reducing the resolution on one of them. This is the first one I’ve tried that worked properly, and I can now successfully work from my set-up at home. Also, Apple’s failing of not supporting extending to more than one monitor has meant that I had to have two separate hubs for two separate HDMI cables if I wanted to extend to both monitors. After downloading the driver, this hub works perfectly on my Macbook Pro and extending to both monitors separately with minimal effort. Well worth the extra money I spent on it.

I’m using 2 external monitors with my M3 MacBook Pro. it works great.
one thing buyer should notice is some stream apps (e.g. Apple TV) will not work because this device is running a screen record in the background, so apps might be blocking you from view.

Overall, it’s great to not have lots of cables trailing out of my MacBook Pro. Just one cable makes my desk a lot tidier and connecting / reconnecting a nicer experience. I am running a 24″ and 32″ monitor from this unit and it works really well. No noticeable lag and the resolutions / quality of the images are good.
I wish it had a headphone socket for my external speakers.
The one issue I am experiencing is that if the laptop sleeps for a little while (5 minutes+) then the laptop stops registering that it is connected. This is a problem as well because I have my Time Machine connected via this unit, so it thinks i am unplugging it without disconnecting first. I have to plug the unit back in to the laptop for it to reconnect. I have contacted support today for a resolution to this issue. Hopefully it’s a simple one. With this resolved, it’s 5 stars in my opinion.
