I installed this RAM in an ASUS A88XM-E as part of a new desktop build. I didn’t notice at the time I bought it that this RAM wasn’t in ASUS’ verified RAM list (note to self — check to see if the mfg. has a verified RAM list in the future…), and got it because it was on sale and by far the cheapest 16GB kit of DDR3-2400 available. Because the AMD APUs (when using the integrated graphics) are very dependent on high RAM bandwidth to operate well, I wanted the fastest I could get (that the motherboard would support), and this was it. I slapped it in and… 1600MHz!?
Well, that seems to be because it wasn’t in ASUS’ list, so it defaults to the JEDEC 1.5v value. I turned on DOCP (also called XMP on some boards), and it was recognized as DDR3-2400.
So far, I’ve had absolutely no stability issues during normal use and during gaming. I’ve used a chunk of the RAM as a RAM disk to help accelerate some loading times in some games (because I didn’t get an SSD, mainly), and no problems there, as well. Plus the black and red complement the stock AMD cooler that came with my A10-7860K (which is also a dark metal and red fan). So there you go, obviously made for one another 😉
In short, it’s worked as advertised on my setup, and I have no complaints. Looks really great, too (although I don’t have a clear-sided case, so I can’t look at it except in photos anyway).

Runs great, looks great in my case!

My motherboard can not boot at speed 2400MHz even I use 2400 with XMP. I can use it at some others speed as 2200MHz or below that

No problems.

Now, I know it’s not my computer parts or anything of the sort. But ever since I got this pair of RAM and OC’d it to anything, and even underclock it. My computer will randomly hang and freeze up. I’ve ensured it wasn’t my windows installation, as I’ve reinstalled windows assuming it was my fault. But even after two reinstallations of Windows 8.1 Pro, the RAM constantly made my system hang. Do not waste your money on this product. You might as well get a pair of 2133 MHz 8GB sticks. It’ll be way worth your money and time, while this is a huge let down to me.

I purchased these, but was unable to get them to work properly with my setup. With that said, they seemed like a great set of RAM and for the price could not be beat!

PNY Anarchy X 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 2400MHz (PC3-19200) CL11 Desktop Memory (RED) – MD16GK2D3240011AXR
Runs as advertized in my Asus Sabertooth R2 Motherboard, running an AMD FX 9590 running at 5.1ghz. I have had zero issues with this ram, a little knowledge about setting ram clocks, power/voltage is helpful though. Priced right and I’d buy it again.
