Have you ever found yourself looking for the perfect gift for a teenage girl??? A 16 year old girl in this social media, selfie taking, YouTube crazed age we now live in. Well! Here is the gift of all gifts! My sweet sister progressively gets harder to buy for. I was sick of buying a gift, thinking I was a genius, being giddy with excitement only to get the very bleak “Oh, um, thanks.” Then finding out a month or so later that gift was either sold, regifted or donated. I just wanted a gift she would actually USE and LOVE for more then 5 min! FINALLY! This did it! She was so excited! Genuinely excited! Happy! Over the moon! She went on and on about the greatest Instagrahmers and Youtubers all have Polaroids. She absolutely loves how small and sleek it is. It fits perfectly in her cute, posh, fringe purse. She loves that she can just connect it to her smart phone!! We live in a world of “filters”. You can’t edit or filter a instant camera BUT you can with your smart phone then print it with this baby!! It also gives you the option of taking a photo and instantly printing instead of choosing that perfect picture from your phone. Oh I should mention that you need an app! Again bought this for a teen sooooo took her all of 5.5 seconds to figure this out. Totally NOT a big deal. She takes it every where, her friends are have added this to thier Christmas wish list, and she’s constantly getting requests for friends to try it! I couldn’t be happier or have enough good things to say about this product! Seriously! Stop searching for that perfect gift, you’ve found it!

Wow, very cool! The print quality is better than I expected, definitely better than the Fujifilm printers and cameras. Just out of the camera the image looks a little contrasty and “over sharpened”, but after a minute or so it becomes much more accurate.
It’s easy to set up and the iOS/Android software is straight forward and easy to use. Also, you can print from any device that supports Bluetooth file sharing, including Macs and PCs. On these devices there is no software to support the printer though, so make sure you send the photo as a 2×3 or 3×2 format jpg to the printer via Bluetooth or else portions of the image will be cut off.
Synopsis- Very small with higher quality prints and less expensive per photo than the Fujifilm printers!

Despite where Amazon may negligently decide to post this review with a “verified purchaser” tag, I purchased a Polaroid 2*3 Zip printer, NOT some 3*4 or other model. Get your stuff straight bozo Bezos! The next problem is that this little printer is too good. I read some negative reviews dealing with problems some were having with the software, but I have had zero issues, and find the software very intuitive and easy to use. I also read several people talking about pictures being too dark. At first, I thought they were a tiny bit too dark, but I did notice they tend to lighten slightly with time (and really no correction should be needed in most cases). My better photos, and those that we had taken professionally print near flawlessly. I suspect some people just might be bad at taking photos. My 2 1/2 year old absolutely loves this thing, he gets so excited picking out pictures of himself and his family and then watching them print out. Then he gets to stick the photos on his stuff – it doesn’t get much better than that! It seems durable so far, and it’s a great size for my little one. My biggest problem is going to be how much money I’m gonna spend on all this photo paper! Like I said…too good!

I use this camera to print photos of my baby for a memory book. It is amazing for that purpose! Since I am so tired and sleep deprived I was looking for a quick way to fill out my baby book and add some photos and this was it. I also love it because I can print out photos for friends and family!

The Polaroid Zip printer is a neat little toy! The reason why I say toy is because if you want stellar prints from this printer then you are not going to get them. Don’t get me wrong this printer is fun to play with and the app (which is now newly updated) works pretty well. The Zip uses 2×3 ZINK adhesive photo paper. ZINK is a technology that allows to print without the use of ink. I had the previous version of this model, the POGO. Polaroid has really stepped up their game with this model. The nice slick design and mobility of the printer is great. The photo quality, while still not amazing, is still tons better then the original POGO. I am excited to see where this technology goes in the future!
I fully recommend this product to anyone who wants to easily make cute printouts of photos from their smartphones and not expect professional grade prints.

So far AMAZING. Got it today and took a bit to find the app for iphone/ipad and get it installed. Had to install a QR reader first and read the QR code in the small instruction manual to download it. It was quick to hook up to Bluetooth (though it does shut down within a few minutes but I think that is in the settings to make it stay on longer) It was no big deal though as I just went to settings and connected it again. Would be nice if there was a place in the app to connect it. In any case got my 1st print in seconds and unlike the Instax mini printer this comes out with the image already there and does not develop outside the printer. Much faster IMO. Colors were pretty good too, have not played much with the editor but not sure if it will give a better image or not.
In any case each print is about .50 cents vs the .80 for the Instax and the printer was about $40 less too. Interestingly the Zink paper is made in the USA which is pretty cool. I also have a Blackberry that I do take pictures on and since there is no app for it was curious if it would work. I connected it up with Bluetooth and it found it and linked up. I got and image on screen and sent it to Bluetooth and it asked what device. I said the Polaroid Zip and it connected and printed perfectly. My guess is it could also work with any Bluetooth device such as a laptop too but have not tried that. So far very happy with it and now I can even print and carry some wallet size pictures with me rather than trying to find some on my phone.
