Amazon Customer –
I love it. Sound quality is great, setup is easy. The Bluetooth to your phone is awesome. If it loses connection to a speaker it is easy as pushing a button on the sound bar and each speaker.

Top of the line sound bar. The sound is incredible and the sub is heavy and wow shakes the house trust me it’s a massive 10” down firing sub get this you won’t be disappointed. Dolby Atmos is really something.
You can’t beat Polk Audio.

I purchased this soundbar in late 2022 (shortly after this model first came out), and have been very pleased. I bought it to replace a Sony soundbar that had constant wireless drop-outs (a known problem with the model) – the wireless connection on my Polk has been rock-solid.
Great sounding audio – this soundbar really shines when you’re playing Dolby Atmos content. Good integration with Spotify and Apple Music as well.
Another thing I like is that this is one of the few soundbars on the market that has three HDMI inputs rather than only one or two. Yes, you can eARC with other bars, but that seems to lead to more frequent issues with latency. With this bar, I have my AppleTV, my blu-ray player and my game console all running directly into the soundbar.
All in all, very satisfied customer with Polk.

Specifically, I am reviewing the Polk Magnifi Max AX with (2) SR2 surround speakers. This system is advertised in different ways like 5.1 or 7.1. They both have the exact same sound bar and subwoofer. With the 5.1 the SR2 rear speakers can be bought separately and added at a later date. Just make sure you are getting the Magnifi Max AX model! I just bought a new 77 LG C3 television and decided against the LG sound bar system because the reviews were not great. The hook for me with this system was the clear voice technology that works pretty well and every other feature works exceptionally well and has exceeded my expectations by alot. Take your time and learn the remote like the back of your hand and you will thoroughly enjoy this system. Tip: Adjusting all the different sound mode strength levels are simple and only requires a quick press and RELEASE of each function button followed by the plus or minus button for Bass, surround, voice adjust, etc. The surround button has 2 adjustments with a balance adjustment requiring a little longer hold of the button before releasing. I use Xfinity Cable TV and have an iPhone 14 Promax as far as my input sources. I listen to Pandora and Sirius XM via Bluetooth from my iPhone and it is the cleanest, clearest and most enjoyable listening experience sound imaginable in the all stereo mode that you can’t even put into words. ( Correction from my earlier post) After taking a deeper dive into many of the different listening modes available, I experimented with setting up the built-in Chromecast, listening via Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, or the Pandora app within the TV, I found that they all sounded pretty comparable and you only need to choose any one of the modes above that is easiest for you to use. You really can’t go wrong with either one. I would refer you to Polk user manual online for instructions. Furthermore, make sure you are in the “all stereo mode” and NOT the music mode from your Polk remote. I have not yet found the music mode helpful for anything yet, not to say I won’t find a use for it in the future. It is simple with lots of different options, just learn the system.) The “all stereo mode” is great for sports as well and seems to separate the sounds between the announcer and the rest giving you a surround type feel making you feel like you are there. The Movie function is also to die for with Netflix movies and feel like you are at a movie theater. Before I purchased this system, I called the Polk customer service to ask about the wifi range for the rear speakers and they informed me that 15-foot max is recommended which almost deterred me from buying it but I took a chance. The 15 ft recommended range is totally incorrect because I have a distance of exactly 23.5 feet from the sound bar to the rear speakers and works flawlessly without any pops, crackles or any other interference whatsoever. This is a fantastic system in every way possible and Polk has done a remarkable job here. I have 2 suggestions to Polk audio: 1. Retest the wifi range and ADVERTISE it!! My room is only so long to test but again, my system is flawless at 23.5 ft. and please educate the customer service on the new recommended range. 2. I can live with the black rear speakers but the rest of my family can’t and prefers white on the walls. ( as you can see from the pics I won that battle) It would be great if you could make just the REARS in white as an option. This system is a strong BUY IMO!!! Thanks for reading..

I had purchased a Samsung sound bar for my Samsung TV a few years ago. It worked well for the first year or so but recently wouldn’t respond and kept reverting to TV sound. I did a lot of research and decided on the Polk system and I can’t believe the difference. My old sound bar never has this level of sound and I can finally hear the dialogue! I have always had problems with background noise when watching tv shows and movies, but this system was well worth the money. I had it set up in just a few minutes and I love that the rear speakers are wireless and automatically connected to the soundbar when was turned on. I am so happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a tv surround sound system.

Have great sounding Polk 8″ ceiling speakers that have taken a pounding over 20 years. Upgraded soundbar from $150 Vizio, whose remote sub and surrounds failed plus, wanted Atmos. Researched all brands in $500-$1000 range. Beyond my experience with Polk, the unique selling feature on this soundbar is that it’s the only unit I found with wireless surround speakers (not physically connected to sub or soundbar). The wireless surrounds let me position them wherever (back, sides, diagnals) have an elec outlet. This is a HUGE plus. All that said, no matter the soundbar, a critical factor is the quality of the recording whether TV show, movie or music and clearly, what audio formats/channels (ex. 5.1) your tv is capable of reproducing. (have atmos-capable Samsung Q90T) So recommend keeping all that in mind to manage expectations; many tend to the forget this and blame the soundbar. As lifeless as 1980’s Van Halen recording sounds is as awesome as Top Gun Maverick sounded. With the surrounds on the sides, along with the guts of the 10″ sub (of course, volume at appropriate level) wow, almost wore out my rewind button. It was truly immersive. In fact during the movie, thought for a moment the speakers were already starting to rattle…my stomach sunk with disappointment. But then, realized it wasn’t the speakers rattling, it was the rest of my house! If sounds (haha) of interest, was able to get on sale for $599 so keep watching. Believe a solid brand, speaker and deal for that money. (Like any product, there’s nothing that does everything perfectly.) Cheers.

An issue with Subwoofer dead on arrival was resolved by Customer Service. The product has great sound for the price, a very good alternative to expensive soundbars.
