Love these IP 335 phones. We have over a hundred at work, but I bought this for use at home on an Internet phone system provider NocTel. Polycom actually got smart and has gone for a mass-market non-vendor-locked solution that is high-quality and competitively priced. This is a “volume” play for them I am sure and it is working great. We use these on an Asterisk phone system at work.
I use it with a cheap 802.3af PoE switch. (having a separate power cord would suck)
Death to proprietary phone systems!

Needed an IP phone to work with my RingCentral account. Decided to go with this phone over a Cisco model and very happy so far. The call quality is good (haven’t really tested it beyond today) and the setup was simple. I simply followed the provisioning steps from RingCentral account and was up and running in a matter of 15 mins. I was actually surprised to see everything worked the first time around!!
The bootup/restarts are a little slow, both otherwise a solid buy, especially for a small business owner looking to escape costly phone costs from cable / traditional phone plans.

My original review was 5 stars and I am changing it to 1 star only after 2 weeks of using the phone. Upon receipt of the phone, my internet phone service (8×8) had to update and program it properly. This took quite sometime for them to troubleshoot and finalize, but after a full day of provisioning by their tech support dept, the phone worked great. I went ahead and gave the 5 starts since it worked great and with clear audio. 2 weeks later (today) the ethernet outlet stopped working. Now that I am looking further into this phone model, apparently this is a common issue with this model.
Between the extreme phone provisining needed and the ethernet outlet completely stopping working, I am returning this phone today. I have been out 2 full days now (a day 2 weeks ago and now today) due to this phone. Due to my frustrations with this particular phone, I have now purchased a completely different model (VVX400) that is known for its durability and long lasting features from my internet phone service provider.

I was looking for a phone to use with a cloud PBX service, and was interested in saving a little by buying from Amazon and programming myself rather than having the provider do it for me (and charge quite a lot more).
Overall, this is a great phone. It feels high quality, the buttons are easy to use, and it has all the features I wanted.
The screen is very readable and I have no problems with it at all — but the resolution is really low and the text is very pixelated. I don’t mind in the sense that I didn’t want to spend another franklin to get a better screen…but all the same seeing a low res LCD panel on anything in 2015 is like taking a trip down memory lane–so one star off for that. Should the screen dissuade you from buying this product? No! It’s a great phone and works brilliantly, so go for it!

This phone came in good condition but without a power cord; i had to go across the street to steve’s house to see if he had one and he did, but he wanted his rake back first; of course i wasn’t done using the rake so i went to rake up the leaves on the lawn but i noticed that my foundation has a crack in it, which worried me–so i started calling around and getting quotes on getting that repaired. I lost track of time while this was going on and forgot about our anniversary dinner! TL;DR avoid getting slapped with a divorce, avoid this product

I’m giving this item a one star because the phone was not able to be reset to factory settings inorder for me to use it and it was missing the adapter. Upon contacting the seller a few times regarding the adapter he eventually mailed it out. Once I plugged it in I discovered the phone wasn’t able to be restored to factory settings. Seller offered a few tips on how to do it, but unfortunately it didn’t work so now my business has been without phone for nearly a month. I was forced to return item to seller and have lost faith in Amazon sellers when purchasing something used.

What can I say, they just work and have incredible sound quality. We probably have 30 of them throughout our office, warehouse, shop, and assembly buildings with another 5-6 spread from Oklahoma, Florida, and Mississippi to Australia and France. Plug them into the LAN and they’re automatically picked up and programmed by our CudaTel. For the remote locations just pop in the WAN IP address of our CudaTel and they’re automatically programmed. Simple, effective, and everything a true commercial business grade phone should be.
