I installed the Power Stop pads and rotors on the front and rear of a 3018 Toyota Tundra to assist with braking while towing a camper. Great product. Fast delivery time, all parts were shipped( no missing parts). The only suggestion I would recommend to Power Stop is to add more brake grease to the orders to apply on the back of the pads

One could argue that drilled and slotted aren’t required for a pick up truck. But it looks cool.
They have good initial bite when braking, don’t make noise, and I haven’t noticed a lot of break dust. During install i must have shifted one of the break pad clips because my rear brakes would squeel when i was off of the brake but I ignored it and it went away after about 100km. Probably just wore down.
Would buy again, pretty fair pricing and braking performance (i think) is better than OEM in my Tundra.

After reading a BUNCH of mixed reviews, I decided to give these a chance. Even though the box clearly states made in China, I was impressed with the machining and balance of the rotors. The pads are a very nice compound that makes stopping strong. The only problem I ran into was with one of the front pads. With the black paint it was too tight to fit into the caliper. This was even after filing the caliper smooth where the pads make contact. I filed the pads smooth where they slide into the caliper and it fit great. Went ahead and did that on the second set and they fit in great. Make sure to remove the bolt for the brake line and ABS sensor line so you don’t kink the hard brake line. No issues with the rears at all. Did not have to modify the metal dust shield or anything.

I can’t believe how crappy the stock brakes and rotors are on these trucks. I thought I had a severe issue, and the dealer said it was normal. I just finished installing the fronts and it is night and day better. 2x the braking power, maybe more.

First, I ordered a full set (front and back) and was missing the front rotors. Returned and re-ordered easily. The new full kit actually came with more parts (I assume first order was therefore missing some hardware). The rotors and pads seem to be good quality and are working very nicely. Installation for the front rotors and pads was perfect. My 2 installation challenges were with the rear pads – 1) the pads did not fit easily into the calipers, so I had to grind them slightly to have them slide in (they were so tight, even a hammer didn’t get them in before grinding) 2) the hardware for the rear pads was not correct for my vehicle. All good now and 1 month later they seem to perform well.

This is now the 2nd set of Power Stop rotors and pads I’ve put on my 2016 Toyota Tundra. Got about 70-75k on the last set which included towing a 7,000lb camper, a boat or a side by side numerous times throughout the year. After that many miles, the front was down to about 3mm while the back still had about 5mm on them. Figured I’d might as well replace them all at the same time. The biggest thing is to follow the break in instructions, included on the box, after installing. I never had any squeals, noises, rubbing, etc. with the first set or so far with the second. The drilled and slotted rotors look sharp behind the rims. Stopping power is great, no dust either. Very happy with them.
