It is a 19th century novel by Jane Austen that talks about the love story between Elizabeth and Darcy. With rich vocabulary, characters, and plot, it is one of the most classic novels till time. Using Elizabeth as the core character, Jane introduced various aspects of feminism to the world.

I don’t know how it’s even allowed to sell something as awful as this. The cover seems to be plagiarized, lots of typos, and missing words — very, very bad quality.

Beautiful writing. So glad I finally read it. What a different world we live in-the language was difficult to follow at times, but well worth the effort to get an understanding of the civility and formality between men an woman.

Reading English literature classics is not only knowledge empowering but also a status symbol for all those ardent readers. These classics are not easy reads for many reasons. One being the language and two being the societal structure that existed during the period when the book was written.

Many books questioned these societal practices and the best part is there were many you g an fold women writers who showcased the then society through their writing. In this list, author Jane Austen stands at the pinnacle. In this connection, reading Jane Austen again is a happy moment.

No where in the description does it state this is an abridged version. Was very disappointed in this heavily edited version – someone took an indiscriminate delete key to the text, created a cover vaguely reminiscent of the movie, and posted. The person that edited this version not only has a heavy hand, but they have no sense of humor. My assumption is they are just trying to make money. Skip this version in favor of the unabridged versions.
