I bought the matte black and my son the matte olive drab green. They are comfy light and I don’t sweat too much. Instills confidence for this 43 year old skater – COMMIT!

My son and I both have pro-tec. (Mine isn’t safety certified, his is). Both adult large, certified is the one on the right. We both love them. Comfortable, breathe as much as a helmet is going to, and doesn’t make you look like you have a giant round bbq lid on your noggin. Really though, why ya think pros wear pro-tec…..because they’re great skull savers!!! I’m definitely not gonna trust a cheap knockoff to protect my child’s head. I’ve read Triple Eight helmets for eggheads and protec for round heads. My son has an alien like cranium and his certified protec fits great! Pay attention to the size chart, use some common sense in sizing, buy a bada** protec and get out and have some fun!!!

I really like it! Perfect for my One Wheel rides. Doesn’t make you head sweat and no itchy Velcro. The color isn’t glossy like most helmets but noticeable to cars and people around. Easy to fit to your head I would from trying them on say that the version without inner pads you’ll want to go a size smaller. But I wouldn’t rely on the non padded to actually protect your head this one is just enough without looking silly and keeps your head safe.

Comfortable, still just a tad narrow on the sides even though ordered an X-Large. This is due to genetics or the manufacturer making helmets for long heads! Either way, very happy with purchase. Felt as if it was worth the price.

Grabbed this helmet for my 12 yr old. Fits great and doesn’t look “cheesy.” Very quality helmet for the money, and he likes wearing it very much. His report is that it is very comfortable and he doesn’t feel lame wearing it. Safety first, but if it isn’t “cool” my kids won’t wear it. My other kids were jealous, so we ordered up for them too. The whole neighborhood is sporting helmets now. Who would have thought that leading by example would have been so easy

Bought this helmet for my daughter to wear in our rock crawler. It looks great, fits her perfectly, and is made with high quality. The brow isn’t too low for her to wear goggles as well. The only drawback is that it is not DOT approved, which is required if doing any offroad competitions.

I bought this helmet along with the triple 8 dual certified. Both Helmets are pretty much the same helmet from a protection standpoint. I saw various reviews comparing the shapes of both helmets with Protec being more round & Triple 8 being more oval. I was not really sure how my head would fit so I purchased both to compare. Looking at the helmets you can clearly see the shape difference. Well this helmet is definitely round and will fit a round head shape better. It looks more pronounced of a mushroom on my head and there is more space (loose) in the temples so yea it is round and I realized my head is more oval shaped. The triple 8 is for sure more oval and fit my head much better all around and had no gap near the temples. With the padding the protec is pretty thin! Triple 8 offers two sets of liners with different thickness and the thinner one is still thicker than the Protec.
Long story short; same exact helmets safety wise as Triple 8, Protect for round head and liner is crap! If my head was round and was a fit for me I would give it a 4. One star deduct for the liner
