I’ve used this case for about a month in the house and short hauls to and from my car. First I got the MX model and my old Martin “Indiana” alto sax did not fit into it. I used the return feature that connects you with the manufacturer and they suggested this PB model. The sax now fits perfectly, actually snugly. This model has a rigid shell under the fabric and it’s heavier than the MX, so there’s a tradeoff, more security but more weight. I enjoy using it, and the size, look, feel and build quality all seem excellent. The outside compartment fits my spiral bound letter size music, but just barely.

The bell on the Keilwerth is larger than standard. Mine fits in this case with no problem. Case is well-designed, easy to carry, seems sturdy and durable (but I’ve only had it a couple of months), and is a welcome improvement over my very old original case with its broken zippers.

    ネットの評価の高い本品を買いました。蓋のジッパーを閉め忘れて楽器を落とさないような配慮もなされています。外のポケットも使いやすいです。金属部品もしっかりしており、大変満足しています。

The media could not be loaded.

I’m hunting for a more lightweight alto case than my original Selmer case. While my Protec Alto/Soprano rolling case had a good fit, this case was terrible. There’s too much of a gap between the neck hole and the start of the bell. The entire horn is loose in the case and is in no way “cradled.” The neck and mouthpiece is also loose in the case. The case I received was broken. The wall of the supply box was detached and pulled away from the case wall. I need a lightweight case for a flight and everyday use, yet this case would lead to unexpected damage of my horn. Other saxophonists in the band I perform with agreed once I shared my experience with the case.

This is an excellent sax case for a reasonable price. I chose a ‘soft’ rectangular case rather than a fitted shape or rigid exterior. The fitted cases don’t have room for much but the instrument, and I am not travelling enough (except by car) to require the extra protection of a rigid case.
This case is very well constructed inside and out. Nice interior padding that fits reasonably close to my horn (a vintage Selmer), and a wooden frame under the padding for protection and long life. The exterior is made with high quality components (zippers, Velcro closures, etc.), nice corner guards, heavy-duty fabric, multiple handle/strap carrying options, and so on.
There is a large exterior zippered pocket that is large enough for sheet music and a bunch of accessories. Inside, there is a pocket for a mouthpiece, a pocket for the neck, and a small rectangular pocket behind the neck-space where you can store some smaller items like a reed case. To be picky, I would have preferred to have one larger pocket on the right end where the divided pocket for neck/reeds is located. Although it holds the neck nice and securely, there isn’t room for much besides reeds in the other section. A larger single space would require a cushioned storage bag for the neck, but might be more useful for including other items. This is real nit-picking though for an all around great case.
I considered the less expensive Protec rectangular case, but for the additional money the Pro Pac appears to be much better constructed, and my valuable vintage horn deserves the protection it provides.

This is a contoured case that protects my son’s saxophone very well.
I used to have a really cheap soft case and the a soft case by Protec but they don’t protect the instrument so well – it still got dented.
This case does much better job.
Price is a little too high.
Also, I bought the straps that make this case a backpack:

Very nice case and it seems to be well built. Perfect case for my vintage 1923 buescher alto saxophone.

got this case was as described but even a bit more lush and cushy. The top padding is adequate but the rest of the case is roomy and cushiony. The outer zipper pocket makes good room for extra items. Inside I easily fit my horn, its mouthpiece and reeds, neck strap, cleaning cloth and fuzzy insert. This is a high quality bag w/v good zippers and a really nice feel. Denier nylon therefore lightweight. Very pleased.

I have Martin Handcraft 1927, and I was looking for the case for it. I got information from the web, and tried.
This case perfectly fits and well made. I strongly recommend!
The weight of the case is a bit heavy, but it protects well (actually, heavier than my Yanagisawa hard case!), I guess…
The front pocket is nice, and inside storage spaces are good enough, but you may need to insert sponge or something to keep your mouth piece, etc into the position. I did, and It is not a big deal. Each mouth piece shapes different, so this is O.K. actually.
    Hope this is helpful!

I like the look, the extra storage ouch on the outside and the secure zippers and Velcro flap, as well as the handles and straps.

I would not recommend checking a sax as baggage on a plane, bus or train in this (lightweight) case, however. It does not appear strong enough to take that sort of a beating and still protect my investment. “It is not a flight case.” This is why I did not rate the durability -I would also need to see if it withstands normal wear and tear over a few years first.
