This is an amazing bag. I upgraded from the 2 mute bag and this is miles above it. I can fit 6 trombone mutes (3 tenor and 3 bass), my music, instrument stand, and everything else I could ever need. The pockets are nice and big, and even when full, it bag holds its overall shape extremely well.

This is a great mute bag when you need to take a larger number of trombone mutes for a pit orchestra or stage concert. The Bag is designed so you can set up the mutes and quickly grab or replace them in the pockets rather than have to hunt for them on the floor next to your chair. They are then easy to place all the way down in the pockets, zip up the lid, and you’re ready to go!

This bag was great and was great quality. You can fit a ton in it. I was surprised when it came at just how big it actually was. I ended up getting the smaller one too and it worked a lot better for my needs. But this bag is awesome and I can definitely see a good use for it.

I picked this up for jazz band. As I play tenor and bass, somethimg that could handle both was prefered. In fact, it has plenty of space to take my music, stand light, stand shelves AND a full load of bucket, plunger, straight and cup mutes. Pretty sure it could take more too! Currently keep my mouthpieces (4 total), valve oil, spray bottle, slide cream, pencils, screw driver’s and glasses case.
(Photo shows bass and tenor trombone mutes, 1 for each horn) to include: straight, cup, Harmon’s. Also a spare triple play for rehearsals and a plunger. Still room for more.)
Edit: It’s been two years since I picked this up. I’ve been carrying fewer mutes as of late (No more Harmon or H&B tenor mutes) and have been able to use one side to carry the my massive music folder. For gigs, I am able to carry the upper portion of my music stand in the main compartment, and even plexiglass in the top compartment. The bag still looks brand new. Used weekly, and for gigs. Best bang for buck in a long while.

So far so good! this bag has got everything I need. Plenty of storage (i know i have too many mutes), but i like how the interior walls a adjustable so I can tweak slightly for some of my bigger mutes.
Also, the mute holder at the top is ingenious. Great for quick change when playing. Canโt wait to get back to gigging after this covid situation passes. I definitely recommend!
