Pure Enrichment PureBaby® Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier

I researched and researched all the humidifiers to find one for the bedroom at night. I now need one to combat dry eyes, in addition to medicine and an eye mask. I love this humidifier. Don’t even know it’s on except for the mist rising from it. I set it on my granite kitchen countertop and put it through it’s motions for an entire day. The counter was never wet, but I will still set it on a clear hard plastic when I use it on my nightstand.

It is so easy to fill. Take off the clear plastic dome, flip it over, and it has a cap on the bottom that seals the water in. Take off the cap, fill (about 6 cups of water; I use the filtered from my refrig), put the cap back on and flip it over to sit onto the base. There is another gadget in the base that will engage the dome and allow the water to fill into the base. Super easy. Just make sure the base is at the location you want to use it so you don’t have to try to move the entire unit full of water someplace else. You cannot use any essential oils or other additives in this unit or it will cause damage. Water only. The mist can be directed any direction you wish by rotating the flap covering the opening where the steam is emitted.

It has a night light feature you can choose to have on or off. You can choose a high or low mist fan setting. It has an auto off feature when the water is low. It has an extremely fine mist that did not leave any water droplets on my countertop. The shape is very compact compared to others, and won’t take up much room on my nightstand. The mist feature will last through the night. The mist travels through a filter tube. Very pleased with my purchase and the price is reasonable.

Was looking for something to use in my baby’s nursery that wouldn’t be too bulky but would also last the whole night. This product is awesome as it has two mist settings & the option to use the blue night light which is the perfect amount to see the room as a parent but not enough to wake baby! The machine is very quiet, I personally can’t hear it at all! Super easy to use! Overall very happy and the reviews on this were my main reason for purchasing after looking and many many models! Very happy I chose this one!

I really had a great experience with this product. It works really well (especially for the price!) and I like the little bit of white noise it provides for sleeping (it is very quiet though!). In particular, I used it when I was sick and I found it really helpful. I clean it weekly and I have no problem with any sort of build up.

I searched forever trying to find a stylish humidifier but all the ones I liked were either oil diffusers or didn’t hold very much water. I wanted one that looked both stylish, was affordable and was functional, not easy to find. I chose this one because of the grey colour and the fact that it holds a good bit of water. It doesn’t shut off during the night and I can get another full night with it on before needing to refill it and this is on level 4, the highest level.

I also like this humidifier because it’s relatively quiet (you can still hear the very soft motor and the water dripping) but overall I’m very pleased with it. It’s somewhat stylish, very affordable and also functional, I recommend it.

I purchased this Pure Enrichment MistAire Silver Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier recently and I use it nightly. I fill the tank all the way up with water and use the High Mist setting – it lasts a full 12 hours!! I really like how I can easily choose between four modes of operation. There is the low mist setting, with or without the nightlight on. And then there is the high mist setting, with or without the nightlight on. The Optional Night Light emits a relaxing, blue glow. Most nights when I’m ready to sleep I just change the setting to turn the night light off but keep the humidifier on. This is the most quiet humidifier I’ve ever had, I can hardly hear it at all! Refilling the tank is easy because I just need to lift it off from the bottom section. The tank is small enough to fill up at my sink, then I just screw the opening closed and replace the tank back on top of the bottom section. There is a cleaning brush provided for gently cleaning the ultrasonic disk to remove buildup and deposits. I haven’t had to clean the tank yet, but I also plan to use a mixture of white vinegar and water (suggested in the manual) when I do. Another cleaning option suggested in the operation manual is to use a decalcification cartridge or a humidifier cleaner cartridge to keep the tank clean.

Overall it does the job. The shape is pleasingly organic. It operates nearly silently most of the time, but a few times an hour there’s a quiet gurgle as the water breaks siphon moving down from the reservoir. It’s never woken me up. Our bedroom is ~500 sq ft, and it raises the humidity from ~40 to ~50% (as measured by a netatmo module basically next to the humidifier on my nightstand. The overall room humidity probably doesn’t budge as much, but my actual face isn’t far away from my nightstand, so that’s a close enough estimate. 4 settings; high/low, night-light on/off. I haven’t noticed a residue or white powder etc anywhere.

HOWEVER,
the advertised feature of the power light turning off after 10 seconds does not work. I emailed customer support, and they responded promptly and efficiently, just offering to send a new unit without bothering with the hassle of sending back the old one. A+. The second one came a few days later, but behaves exactly the same. So now I have 2 for the price of one. I haven’t contacted customer support again because I’m mostly satisfied, I suspect given how basic the electronics are for “turn off light after 10 seconds” that the odds are good even another would just do the same, and I’m just too busy. So great customer support, but I have to cover up the bright blue power light, which is a bit kludgy. The prevalence of bright blue LEDs on everything drives me nuts, but I’m certainly happy with the humidifier aspect of the humidifier…
