These performed quite well for me. I like the shrink tubing much better than the old type of hard plastic. The tubing doesn’t catch on ‘stuff’ and keeps debris out. The waterproof description doesn’t make sense since the other end is open but, regardless, having a tight fit on the wire end is very nice.

Not impressed by this kit at all. Why? You would think that there would be an equal amount of male to female connectors but this was far from reality. Secondly the metal is very thin and doesn’t seem reliable under a heavier load. And lastly the wire holes are way to small for the wire this kit says it can handle.
