This gaming keyboard is so nice! The quality is unmatched and the keys are so clicky it’s awesome! My son is a gamer and he was even wow’d by this keyboard. The wrist pad is magnetic too! So it stays in place when attached to the keyboard. The display in the upper right corner is so cool…I have the spaceships going lol I’m sure it does more and can’t wait to keep using this. Definitely high end but you get what you pay for usually! I expect this will last a long time! I’m also not letting my son mess with the switching out the keys just yet haha I will definitely update if anything changes

This arrived well packaged in a beautiful Razer box. I very much enjoy the Razer unboxing experience as it is just fun, and you know you received something special.

Inside the box is the keyboard, a USB cable, wireless dongle that sits on your desk, a key cap/key switch puller, three extra Razer orange switches, a quick start guide, a small manual, and Razer Stickers.

The keyboard feels very durable and well made. I am using it to type this review and it is wonderful for that purpose. The Razer orange switches feel nice and to me are very quiet.

Hooking up the keyboard is easy. I used wired mode but it works similarly using wireless mode and the dongle on your desk. Most all of the functions of the keyboard work fine without using any software, but I installed Razer Synapse 4 software and that worked great! It allows for full customization of the keyboard, from mapping the keys, rgb lighting, OLED settings, and power saving modes if you are using it in wireless mode. It is quick and easy to use and I am very happy with it.

The most unique feature of this keyboard is the OLED screen it has. There are so many functions that are customizable that it is really fun to play with. The OLED is controlled either through Razer Synapse 4 software, or the dial and button that are right next to the OLED display. I mainly use it for volume control, but you can use it to switch apps, adjust brightness’s, and a host of other things. You can also set it to display various animations for specific amounts of time, and chose one of three different screen savers that show after the animations end. I really enjoy the OLED and its many functions. It is in black and white and looks great!

In games or on the desktop the keyboard has worked perfect! Just a great experience.

The rgb lighting is fantastic! It can get quite bright and has almost an endless amount of customization via Razer Synapse 4 software. I really like the glow strips it has on the sides of the keyboard, which get equally bright as the rest of the leds. If you use Razer Chroma software too it will integrate with all your other Razer gear so it will all do the same lighting effects at the same time. Chroma can be downloaded with the Razer Synapse 4 software, which is what I did.

My desk has a pullout tray for my keyboard and mouse. It will fit full size keyboards fine, but I am quite liking this 75% keyboard and also tenkeyless ones, as they give me much more room to move my mouse.

This keyboard also comes with one of the softest, nicest wrist rests I have ever seen or felt! It has rubber pads like the keyboard so it won’t move from where you put it, and attaches to the keyboard magnetically. I do not need to use it when the keyboard is on my pullout tray, but I will use it if I get an upgraded gaming desk at some point. I think Razer is the best at making these very soft and comfy wrist rests.

I have no issues or cons with it at all! It is expensive but the quality is there. Just a fantastic keyboard that I am very happy with!

This 75% keyboard features Razer’s Gen 3 orange tactile switches, which I think can closely be compared to a Cherry MX Brown’s feel & sound. I’m glad Razer is finally making their keyboards more customizable, this keyboard is hot-swap compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, just like the non Pro version.

The keyboard itself has a hefty weight with its metal base, with layers of foam in the base for better sound experience. The keycaps are not the best quality, however, I feel that most people end up swapping out their stock keycaps to match their setups better and would highly recommend doing as the stock have a slightly scratchy texture on the tops of the keycaps.

The under glow light is perfect if you’re looking to add more flair to your setup, but realistically is only a good option if you plan to use the keyboard wired for the majority of the time.

The OLED screen has customization functions in which you are able to upload your own GIFs to display on the screen if you do not like the appearance of the Razer ones. Through the screen you are able to view the battery level of the keyboard, skip or return track (pause/play track by clicking the dial), adjust your volume levels (mute by clicking the dial), adjust the brightness of the keyboard and OLED screen, switch apps, and zoom. You are able to cycle through these 6 screens using the textured button below the dial.

In my opinion, this is definitely the best mechanical keyboard Razer has released, but there are still many areas in which the build can be improved, especially at the price point.

so i have tried the 65% the other 75% and this model of teh new razor lineup…… and this is by far my favorite….. it sounds better than the other 2 ( not by much but it does start to capture a somewhat decent sound)…. it isnt the greatest sound in the world but it doesnt sound bad….. which is a pretty big step up for razer…… this is a gaming keyboard before it is anything else….. but the option to be able to charnge the switchs out is really nice….. the oled display is nice and crisp…… software is pretty decent but i wish they would roll multiple programs into one rather than make you download multiple apps to configure your device….. the keycaps have almost like a texture to them which feels nice under fingertip…. the wrist rest is a nice touch and it being connected via magnets is pretty great….. leds are very bright and i love the underglow of the side leds….. pairs perfectly with the new razer mouse…… completely redid my desktop set up and i thought i had found my forever setup….. razer knocked the new line ups out of the park with this one….. i will say is is over priced but if you can catch it on sale then i would say go for it
