Been using this on a 1977 Puch Maxi e50 engine with a 65cx metrakit setup. This ATF seems to work good. I run high rpms.. 10,000+ and I’ve never had a slip yet.

I used Redline Racing as part of a formula to do a full ATF fluid replacement for my 2004 Acura TL (replacing the OEM Honda Z1 that was in my engine for all these years before now). For technical reasons, I mixed this with Redline D4 and Redline Lightweight ATF in order to have the proper chemical mix in my engine, as recommended by experienced transmission builders, and it was worth the slightly higher price when compared to other ATFs.

I have driven over 4,000 miles since I did this fluid replacement and I have had a better driving experience than ever- smooth shifts, no shudder, no issues despite being in temperatures ranging from -30 to 75 degrees all in a matter of months.

After my experience, I would recommend this ATF to anyone who really wants to be using top-tier fluid for their transmission. Once you’ve used Redline, there’s no going back.

Nothing to say but replaced in my Acura and shifts smoothly. Defiantly worth getting if it is compatible for your vehicle

This almost always works wonders on hard shifting or noisy transmisions, I’ve used it alot of them and it defiantly is worth the high price of a full fluid change. I will prolong the life of a older tansmission that is starting to show some age and wear… It is not however some mirical fluid that fix a transmission that is actually broken.

  7. thegoodshot

Greatly improved the transmission shift feel in a 2004 Acura TL with a 3×2 drain/fill and 3rd & 4th gear pressure switch replacement at 120k miles. I did not have 1qt of D4 fluid on hand to complete the final drain/fill and maintain recommended ratio of Type-F to FM fluid.

The car is new to me and shortly after purchase I became irritated by the low-gear transmission lag and shift operation. The vehicle also had an annoying “double-bump” when shifting from Park to Drive. These issues are virtually eliminated after doing this service. Thanks to the wealth of information on Acurazine forums and the members there.

The only gripe I have is cost, however this is a good product that is not worth the time nickel & diming over.
