Cymbals are a great sounding. I have no issues with any of them. Sound is great, stick response is good. I really have no criticisms. I would highly recommend these for home practice. Definitely loud enough to play along with unmuted toms.
The bag is a nice add on as are the tom pads. I personally don’t use the pads much, but it’s nice to have a set for the few times that I do.
I’d buy the set of cymbals even if it didn’t come with the pads and bag.

This cymbal pack should be listed for beginner drummers only. The price is right but the sound quality is poor ( these cymbal sound like metal plates ) I would not recommend…. Back to the engineering sound board

Fantastic value, if you’re using these for practice or ambient gigs, don’t bother with the Zildjian L80s. These cymbals are fantastic quality and will more than suffice.
Drum mutes are as described. Not a replacement for quiet drum heads by any means but are a quick and easy solution. If I were setting this up live for an ambient gig I’d probably use the cymbals and the snare mute and moongel the toms.

Great product overall and a great value, but the real deal is the cymbal set. They sound great! You can really lay into the ride cymbal and crash with the energy you would use to drive your regular cymbals. Also, playing at a very light volume, you still feel the articulation that you would on a regular set. Oh, and the high hat cymbals are excellent, too! For funk, you can even do high hat “barks” and they sound great. The cymbal bag is a bonus. The drum pads are drum pads, no big deal, they do their job muffling the drums,,,and my neighbors are happy. All in all, a great value for the money and you can still practice and feel you are really playing. Thanks!

Obviously I am comparing this cymbal set to a $2k name brand set. But I am blown away at the quality sound coming from these cymbals! I listened to all the name brand mute cymbals, and thought they all sounded cheap and tinny.
But these do not sound like that at all. There are a few good videos on here to listen to them, but know that even the videos do not give justice to how these sound in person.
I am so confident in the sound of these, I am thinking of taking them on the road and just using a set of good mics. Honestly if I can recreate or even get close to the sound of Paiste signature cymbals just by mic’ing these, then why in the world spend money on the real things?…
With all that said, I do think the hats are a bit tinny, I will play some mix and match until I find the right set of hi hat sound, but still giving 5 stars. If I could give 6 stars I would! As a pro drummer of (25 years) I am saying you cannot go wrong with this set!
Buy them, then try mic’ing them before spending thousands on the real deal, see what you think, see what others think! For me this was like finding gold on Amazon!

Overall I think these are worth the $100. They are decent quality, though the cymbals feel pretty thin and cheap. But they’re $100, so that’s to be expected. The drum mutes work super well, and really deaden the volume of the drums. I’m not trying to bass drum one because I don’t want to stick the Velcro to my bass drum head. I wish it were a regular mute like the rest of the drums.
The cymbals sound decent, good enough for practicing.
Overall I would recommend these for a practice kit at home when your goal is to make your drums quieter.

I received these late yesterday and got them setup on my kit this morning. I am a casual player for my own personal enjoyment. Prior to the I had Paiste PST7’s on the kit. When playing or practicing I had to use hearing protection as it was just too loud. This made it difficult to hear the background music I was playing to. With the Soundpier cymbals and drum mutes, the sound level is lowered enough that I no longer need to use the headphones.
And for the sound… These are amazing! I get a very nice “chick” from the hi-hats and an excellent bell from the ride. The 18″ crash a very nice tone and sustain. The drum mutes also sound very nice.
The whole setup is not quiet enough to use when other people are in the house but I now able to enjoy my time on the drums much more with this cymbal and mutes set.

I bought two sets of Cymbals Sultan Series and another brand. The other brand had one more cymbal, but I didn’t like the sound. I then got the Sultan Series and traded them out. I am shipping the other cymbals back. Thanks Sultan Series cymbals
