I’ve been running Rigid’s for a few years. Always had a great experience. These Spot Pro pods are no exception. They outshine the high beams on my ’22 Sierra AT4. You can’t beat the price to performance ratio. Baja Designs and Diode Dynamics are likely brighter but 10-30% more expensive. I also love the high-quality look of the Rigids. If you’re not running Rigid, Baja, KC, or DD on your truck, you aren’t doing it right.

I’ve never been a big fan of Rigid products. But…
I’ve been importing another brand (Aurora) from Guangzhou and they are a 40W LED Pod (each light). And at 50% less cost. They look exactly the same as the Rigid, and perform quite well. I do have a min order of 10pcs so that puts a damper on when I need only a pair or two.
However, this past month I decided to try these lights for my work truck. And WOW… they are great!!! Lots of light output, and very well built. A nice solid mounting system too. They’re so great, I ordered a second pair for my wife’s SxS, a Yamaha YXZ 1000R.
I won’t bash Rigid anymore, and am excited to try more and more of their product.

Significantly more cost than the other no namers out there. I’ve tried many. NOTHING, I mean absolutely NOTHING even comes close to a Rigid LED, spot beam light. Construction quality and overall brightness.
Shipped quick too

I’ve fitted them on my Kawasaki Z900 and I must say these are brilliant on the highways. $160 for a pair of them along with wiring harness and switch is a steal !! These are way better than some of the competitor LEDs like AUXBEAM and Chinese Gold Runway which are quite popular in India and more expensive than RIGID as confirmed by Automotive Shops here.
The Only issue here is that if you are using these on bike, please get a switch that can be fitted on a motorcycle handlebar as the switch that comes with the light is meant to be embedded in a flat panel.

These lights are bright! I know Rigid makes even stronger lights but for on road use, these are more than adequate. I installed them on my motorcycle for daytime use to add safety from cars not seeing me. Well, they can see me now, even in bright daylight. I purchased amber plastic lenses to put over the lights so that they would not be so blinding and I believe they are even more effective over bright white in daytime.
The installation was easy except for finding ways to get the wires to the lights as there are not many gaps in the motorcycle to snake wires.
I don’t usually ride at night but tried them out one evening and they totally overtake the headlights (without amber lenses). If a car is coming towards you at night, you must shut them off!
The only issue I had was the on / off switch they provide which did not work for motorcycle use. I purchased an inexpensive switch from Amazon that attached to the handlebars. Very happy with my purchase.

I got rid of my light bar on my Jeep JKUR for numerous reasons. Looks, wind noise, quality etc.
I replaced the light bar with Rigid spot beams. They are mounted on front windshield side post mounts.
The spot beams minimize the light reflection off the hood. Any wider beam and it was just too much reflection to deal with.
These small lights are impressive. They reach out and light up the lonely forest roads and work great off road. Yea I know, they are not DOT certified for highway use but when you’re the only one on the road, it minimizes the unknown.
You won’t be sorry for buying quality.

I purchased these for my truck. I drive in northern Ontario where it gets very dark and the moose get very big. These are the narrow beam lights, they light up both sides of the road for almost a Km. They are technically off road lights so check your local laws. I feel better driving at night with them. The only drawback was that there was no relay with the kit.

Lights arrived the day before the mounting hardware, great shipping speed. Couple things I noticed right away, these lights are heavy duty feeling. I’ll know if the really are as I use them. Right out of the box assembly and installation was easy. With my mounting location on the ditch light bracket of my ’10 forester I needed to add a couple washers so the bolt didn’t scrap against the hood, nothing against Rigid, just a note.
Now you’ll see a couple pictures I posted and on the lower right led the lens is not centered. It is daylight out right now so I can’t see how this will effect the quality of the light output but I did notice it.
Also, the wiring for the switch is a little confusing as there is a red wire a red with black band and a pair of wires one black and one black and red. I blew the fuse because I mixed the red with a black band with the red and black wires. My fault, but it could be a little more clear. I also noticed that the wiring harness does not include a relay, even my cheap nilight bars came with one. More a note as I could use a smaller switch with a relay…
Really happy so far, can’t wait to see them perform out on the “trail”…

They work, they are bright, more important they have a good beam pattern. Anyone making a light can spec out a high output LED and toss it in a housing to point light in a general direction. And it sure looks bright. Lights up a garage door great. But actually publish what the beam pattern is, not may companies will do that. I bet most light companies don’t even know what there actual beam pattern is.
The adjustability of the mounting brackets is also great. Where I mounted them I just turned the brackets around and they turned into rear mounted lights instead of bottom mounted lights. Nice touch as the light floats in the opening and you don’t see the mounting.
The lights are somewhat directional. You don’t want to mount them upside down. They have a proper goretex(?) breathing membrane so they can breath but stay dry inside. It is well protected and bottom mounted. Mounting the lights upside down would mess with the breathing. They have been in for several months now, no issues.
Before I installed them I did hook up to a benchtop power supply. They really do draw the rated power, or close enough for my uncalibrated meter. Specs run true (unlike some of the other stuff I tried). Steady output and wattage draw regardless of voltage applied. They have a true proper LED driver circuit.

These lights are amazing, the price is definitely worth it as they were so easy to install at home. You don’t need any experience, as you can do it in a couple hours as a beginner. The price is worth it as these lights are extremely bright lighting up over 150yards, while keeping the sides bright. I put these lights on my Ford Bronco and it was extremely easy to install 11/10 would highly recommend.
