I’ve ordered this eyeliner probably six times now. It slides on super smoothly, nice and thick, no warm up necessary. Great value for the price.
LPT: You have to use a good sharpener, because it’s so soft. I was using a cheap sharpener and the tip kept breaking off, so a lot of it went to waste. I bought the L’Oreal Paris Cosmetics Infallible Eye Makeup Pencil Sharpener and it sharpens this creamy pencil beautifully, no more problems.

I used to use ColorStay but they changed their formula and it no longer stayed. I switched to LBri and found their gel to be too dramatic and it dried the instant it was applied, making it impossible to correct any mistakes. I gave this a shot and while I am not a huge fan of having to sharpen the pencil, it definitely stays put, lasts all day, and has a short window of time to correct any mistakes before it dries. It is moderately difficult to remove even with makeup remover, but I discovered that contact solution is a perfect makeup remover so I just use a dab of it at night. You definitely need a makeup pencil sharpener, but I got one on Amazon for $2 and it works great.

TL;DR – 100% recommend! This is waterproof, even in the swimming pool & sets quickly (but can be smudged if you’re quick). Best pencil liner (sharpenable) and stays in the water line!
I’m a light-medium skin tone & brunette (natural black), which makes me high contrast and therefore only interested in the deepest black mascara and eyeliner. Both must be waterproof and easy to take off when I decide and this checks every box for me. At this price point, I’m able to keep several on hand so I’m never without it. (:
I adore this liner and would easily buy it at triple the price, it’s just that good. It’s one of the darkest black liners I’ve come across and at a 6th of the price of others, this has earned its place in my makeup bag to say the least. I keep two “emergency liners” under my sink & once the one in my makeup bag gets small, I throw it in my purse just in case.
On a casual day, if my eyebrows are clean (waxed/plucked) & I have this liner in my upper waterline, I feel put together enough to leave the house without any other makeup on. I have medium brown eyes and a black limbal ring but the contrast is much more noticeable when I wear this liner, so I’m fully addicted.
On multiple occasions, I’ve been swimming (I’m talking fully submerged, diving, and rough play for hours) on a 100+ degree day and it’s still hanging on by night. Unless I scrub at it with a towel (which hurts, so don’t lol) or use a cleansing oil/ makeup remover, it’s hanging on through almost anything.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for staying power and doesn’t mind sharpening a pencil liner.

I purchased 12 eyeliners and tested them to see which ones I liked most. I apply my eyeliner to what’s known as “the waterline” of the eye, the inside of the bottom eyelid. I wanted an eyeliner that would last all day and would not smear and make me look like a raccoon. I didn’t find any that were perfect. I’ve been using this eyeliner for probably 8+ years. It’s by far my favorite eyeliner ever. It lasts all day without smudging and the hint of sparkle in the brown shade gives it such a pretty look. Only down side is sharpening it is a total pain and the sharpener gets backed up with product. Honestly for the price I don’t care I’ll use it until they stop making it.
