I ordered this Rockhouse Metronome watch because I wanted to see how I like watches while I practice guitar. I have used many metronomes but never a watch version.
If you have never used a watch metronome, it does take a few times to get used to it, but it feels good after a while. I think the immediate feedback that you get from your write to making contact with the notes makes a lot of sense while working on your timing.
The watch itself works well however I don’t think the manual is great. Just play around with the two buttons and you will be able to figure everything out.
For simple rhythms this is a good wrist metronome.

My drum majors (student conductors) for my high school pep band sometimes need a reminder of the best tempo for each of our songs before they count them off, especially in the stress of a game, time outs, etc… When your heartrate gets going, sometimes your tempos can get off.
This worked well for a quick tempo check. Unlike the clip-on metronomes, it never gets lost. It was easy to change the tempo quickly, and it gives a very tangible buzz on the wrist with each beat. This is much better than an audible metronome, especially in a loud environment (like a football or basketball game!).
The only two complaints: It is a bit bulky on the wrist, but that’s easily forgiven as it does its job well. It also uses a type of charging cable I’ve never seen before. Would’ve strongly preferred a more “standard” option, even at the risk of making it less water-resistant (don’t see that it claims to be, but they also recommend it for running and jump-rope, so I’d hope it’s supposed to be?). Worried that the cable will get lost in the craziness of a high school band room and make it worthless.
